Good stuff / great price
I've been using PetArmor for years now. Just switched to Max because of themosquito protection. They've been sooo bad, especially after a couple hurricanes.I get the largest size and use 1 tube between my two dogs. Started working that nightas far as I could tell.So far as I've seen, it's abt half the price of others so, good enough for me.

Poor packaging
Great product works well for us. The packaging could be better because if you squeeze too much while trying to cut the top off the product comes out all over you.

I'm surprised it is performing as well as it is
I always do a lot of research on the beginning of summer to determine the best method for flea prevention. The big concern is not the killing of the fleas so the dog doesn't continue to scratch and concerns not the flea infestation. I feel most of the flea medications can at least do that. Until this year I have used a topical preventive and I spray my yard to kill fleas and ticks. The reason for that is my dog is allergic to the flea bite. If a free gets on him and bites him even if it dies immediately the bite is still there. A short-lived singular bite causes him irritation and it'll make as n itchy spot & irritation. I try to make him as comfortable as possible obviously. After a bit he sometimes will actually lose fur around a bite. When I purchased this product I had already planned to start spraying my yard.I am about to make the second application and I have not seen a single flea Nordic and I did NOT have to spray my yard..Short of raising chicken in your backyard I cannot imagine any other flea prventive being either easier or more effective. Also ... I'm in a semi-southern state. There's a review somewhere floating around about the fleas in this area being resistant. I'm in a semi- outhern state and it kicked their butts, apparently.

Not aggressive enough for Southern US | PetArmor Max Flea, Tick and Mosquito Prevention for Dogs
In my area of the country we have a very serious superflea, one that has been causing problems for pet owners for a few years now as it really just is not affected by a great deal of flea medications. I ordered this one to give it a try essentially out of desperation because nothing really works, and unfortunately I can file this one right along with it. The fleas here are just massive, fat, medication-resistant fleas wtih an ability to survive under even the harshest conditions. All of my animals are exclusively indoors except two dogs who potty twice a day outdside, and I STILL have trouble keeping fleas at bay even inside my home - and I use a pest service, too.I really don't fault this medication for not working for me, but I had to rate it based upon my experience, so I tried to split the difference. It's probably fine if you are in an area with normal fleas, but for Southeast US folks with the superflea, it probably isn't going to work for you.

Surprisingly Awesome
I was a little skeptical since I live in Florida and we tend to have super fleas. Plus we have a lot of sandy dirt in our yard which seems to be a breeding ground. But this stuff worked amazingly! We have a German Shepard mix and a lab mix. They weren’t infested. I had found maybe 10-15 fleas on each when I ordered this. Gave them a quick bath and applied the medication. Within a couple of days they were gone. I forgot to reapply at the 3 month mark, but it wasn’t until 4 months after the first application that I saw any fleas. So I washed and reapplied and haven’t seen any since. This stuff works so much better than the other brands I’ve tried (frontline, advantix) and is so much cheaper. I highly recommend.

Doesn't work for ticks anymore
Been using for over 10 years, I think the ticks are immune to it. 2 months in a row my dog has had a tick on her
