It does keep my Maltese brilliant white.
I like the shampoo because it does keep my Maltese brilliant white, but it is very watery and thin.

Great shampoo
Love this shampoo for my dog. The most important factor is that it is tearless, even though I try to stay away from her eyes while I bathe her. It leaves her hair (not fur) clean and soft between grooming. Nice scent, too.

Cleans but doesn’t whiten
The shampoo smells nice and cleans well, but my dog doesn’t look any whiter. I have a Maltese. I didn’t notice a difference with any other shampoo compared to this (as far as the whitening claim).

It works great and it's safe for my dog
We live on a newly paved ashfalt road and my white and tan dogs fur was turning gray and black. The shampoo cleaned her right up!!!!

Best instant dog shampoo
Instantly cleans and deodorizes that doggie smell, especially on rainy days. My dog smells wonderful and actually likes being spritzed with this wonderful product

Let's set the record straight - this is a great dog shampoo!
I've used this on my adult dog for over two years because I wanted a mild shampoo. When I used to work at a dog groomers we always added water to the shampoos so they wouldn't be too soapy or produce too much lather--otherwise it can irritate the dog's skin and eyes, and also be difficult to wash out completely. So if you are looking for a high-sudzing dog shampoo (which I would never recommend using on a dog of any age) this one ain't it.As another reviewer noted, start by washing the dog's body first. When you get to its face, USE A WASHCLOTH. Don't just pour shampoo on it's head. Be careful not to get soap or water in the dog's ears. Be sure to wash off ALL the soap--run your hand over his head, ears, neck--rub it and see if it feels even a little soapy. If it does, keep rinsing. But my experience with this shampoo is that it rinses out very easily. Anyone that is getting 'residue' isn't getting the soap out. And if the dog still feels dirty, well just wash him some more! And the scent? It's lovely! Not too strong and smells very clean.Make dog baths an event, something that you and your dog come to enjoy. Ours used to wriggle and fight, but now he loves it. Use tepid to slightly warm water; not cold or scalding. Go gentle until your dog learns to trust you with this operation and so he learns that it doesn't hurt. We didn't yell at our dog or yank him around when he wouldn't behave or tried to get out of the tub; we talked soothing and tried to put him at ease. Now we laugh and have a good time. When he's done, he loves the towel rub down. And when that's done, he tears around the house like a crazy dog. I can only imagine it's from shear enjoyment of being clean!

No blanquea

Smells nice. Cleans dog. Inexpensive. Recommended!
Used this on a 5lbs papillon. My spouse describes the smell like a sweet milk sort of scent. We both liked it. This is what the breeder provided to us when we bought the pup and she was one of those very meticulous breeders who researches every product that touches her dogs.Bought it due to the scent & cost, & would recommend this shampoo based on these two qualities. I was previously using baby shampoo but it smelled strange on a dog, and this dog shampoo is nearly the same cost as baby shampoo anyway. As for the whitening... well, my spouse says he thinks it does bring out the whiteness in a dog, regardless of how dirty he was. I didn't see a big difference in whiteness, I felt like it really depends how dirty the dog is to begin with. But, he did appear very white after the bath.Note: this shampoo isn't very bubbly (doesn't really make suds) but just because it doesn't make suds doesn't mean the dog isn't getting cleaner.I will be buying this shampoo from now on.

Bottle was delivered half full
I received the item on the last order half full and the box was not damaged so it was a little strange. I gave it a good review because I like the product for my dog and we’ve been using this product on my dog since we got him. I was a little disappointed with this last purchase though but I did receive a refund for it which is good. Thank you

Really Watery
Definitely won't be buying this again. Thought I'd try it out as a paw washing shampoo (for when my dogs come in from playing outside but don't need a full bath), but not worth it. Should have expected that much since it was pretty cheap, but was hopeful. Unfortunately, really watery and low quality. Avoid if you can, and spend your money on a better product. Ending up having to mix with a more expensive shampoo in order to be able to use it.

I might look for something else for odor
The lather is good, scent is nice, makes my puppy feel soft, nice ingredients, however it DOES NOT take away odor! My puppy still smelled the same even after lathering this all over him and drying him, he was still stinky. So if you're hoping this would take away a certain smell don't bother and look for something else.I'm still gonna use this as this is a decent dog shampoo (you get what you paid for) but if he's smelly I'm gonna look for something like a spray (lord he smells bad).
