It’s an excellent product that works as it should

This is a nice strong dose. It is probably better for those who are slightly deficient, than for those with an already healthy level. 4,000 IU is a lot if you don't need it. That said, my doctor said that as soon as you feel that you are getting sick to take a high dose of vitamin D (like 10,000 IU for an adult, half that for a child) and it will help prevent an illness. It has worked for us so far. Now, those are some higher doses and you do have to be careful if you are going to take this long term. Vitamin D is fat soluble and will not be washed out in your urine, like vitamin C. Taking too much for a long period can lead to calcium deposits in soft tissues. One or two days (like when you are getting ill) should be fine. But, of course, always consult your doctor about this. If you are deficient (you can request a test from your Doctor) this is a good product to use. There is no taste and you only need to take a 1 or 2 drops. Fast and painless. The bottle is pretty small, so it is easy to take along with you if needed.

I've been using these drops for years and they saved me from having to get expensive dental work. I was deficient in vitamin D because I was spending too much time inside (skin converts sun into vitamin D) and wasn't getting enough from food related sources to make up for it. It's true that a lot of dairy is now fortified with this vitamin but it's not nearly enough. You NEED high levels of vitamin D to absorb calcium properly. After about a month of use I noticed that my transparent teeth became a bright solid white again. A few pin head sized cavities were arrested and no longer growing but unfortunately too damaged to remineralize. Other spots remineralized and went back to being normal tooth. All my tooth sensitivity also went away. I also noticed a huge increase in energy and my mood became more positive. It essentially cured my years long depression which was a result of vitamin deficiency rather than a chemical imbalance. For such a cheap product you really can't go wrong here. Soy free, gluten free and it will do so much good for your body. The gravity dropper is also really precise but don't make the mistake of shaking it. Just turn it upside down, hold it straight, wait a few seconds and a drop should come out. When it's nearly empty it can take 30-60 seconds to get a drop which sorta sucks but I prefer accuracy of doses over speed. Especially at a high dose like this where getting too many extra drops could harm your health.

I believe that D Drops are more effective than other companies’ softens.

My vitamin D level was 9 ng/ml (under 20 is considered deficient) when I ordered this product. The bottle is small but contains 365 drops, each with 4,000 IU (100 mcg). My current level is 40.3 ng/ml, and I haven’t even finished the bottle yet. As I regularly got my level checked, I know that this one works perfectly. The instructions say not to shake the bottle, which seemed odd, but I followed it. The first drop falls slowly, but the second comes quickly. My only complaint now is that with small amount left in the bottle, it takes forever to get the first drop! I am about to give up on this bottle and order again. Hope this review was helpful!
