Zuke's SuperFood Blend Natural Dog Treats With Vibrant Veggies - 6 oz. Bag

Really, how can I tell if it's good quality, except that it doesn't smell or leave residue on my hands or clothes. and what exactly is superfood anyhow? Gave it 5 stars because the pooch is enthusiastic about getting these. Just going along with the ad hype on how healthy it is. It's not in stock much, so other dogs must like it too -- or they got caught hyping it. Would be nice to know which.

I've been buying Zuke's dog snacks for years now. I love that they are made in the USA, sourced in the USA, and packed full of healthy ingredients for my dogs. Most recently my Great Pyrenees was diagnosed with Lymphangaectasia and IBD, a very deadly disease where the body can't absorb fat or protein. As a result, she has to be on an extremely strict vet diet of no/low fat, and specific novel protein sources. It's stressful and a pain in the butt, to say the least. These Zuke's snacks, in the Greens and the Betas Blend, are 2 treats on a very, very, very short list that she is allowed to eat. (Even then, she's only allowed 2 snacks a day.) I am so impressed with Zukes and their commitment to making health-filled treats.

My Shih Tzu loves these. The great quality an added bonus.

My beagle likes them. Nothing more needed to say other than they're lo cal too.

Edited 5/3/2014: I changed my rating since finding out about Nestle Purina purchasing the Zuke's line. Basically, I don't think they care as much about the health of our beloved pets and will no longer be purchasing these.My dogs love love LOVE Zuke's Super line. This Super Betas blend is not available for sale at any of the local pet stores around me. They all carry the Super Greens and the Super Yummy Berry ... but not this one. My dogs love carrots and sweet potatos. I love that there are a lot of treats per bag and that they are low calorie and a healthy alternative to biscuits. M**kb***s and the gravy ones have ingredients in them that are used in embalming fluid. Don't believe me? Check the side of your box. It's right there: preserved with BHT ... why that needs to be in biscuits I have no idea but it's frightening.Since substituting these small treats for cookies my 8 year old Shih-Pooh Owen has lost 1.6lbs! Of course, I'm sure a lot of that has to do with his long walks as well, but it certainly hasn't hurt diminishing his large stash of pet bar cookies to a couple of bags of Zuke's Supers.It's important as a dog parent to do your homework and find better treats to give them. Do not buy your pets any chicken jerky treats made in China or sourced from China. Be wary of labels that state, "Made in the USA" but say "Product of China." This includes anything under the Del Monte brand.Zuke's is an American company with all ingredients (except their rabbit and venison treats which are sourced from New Zealand) being sourced from the United States of America.I would recommend this brand to everyone!

I am actively training my dog. He LOVES these. Has helped immensely with training. I checked out the ingredients and I even gave them a tiny try. Tastes like sweet potatoes. Licorice consistency with a little grit. Not bad at all, but probably won't be adding them to my snack cabinet just yet. Lol. Overall, good enough for me,, definitely good enough for my dog. A little pricier and less quantity, but better quality. I mix it up with another bag of generic training treats to stretch the bag of Zukes out.

Always a delicious & low cal treat for da Trio, my 3 Lhasa Apso's. 1 of them was just diagnosed as diabetic & w/2 injections daily (which he fights with all 22.6lbs of him) I needed to find a tiny treat to give that wouldn't be given daily like their Mother Hubbard cookies, that wouldn't put weight onor set off his sugars-Zukes are the best! We've tried almost everything now & love this flavor, the greens, steak filet, Peanut Butter bars, sausage links & their original lil 'buttons'. I like that it's made in the USA & is just about if not completely all natural. I hope you & your furbabies enjoy Zukes as much as we do! Thanks Zukes for a pawtastic product line🐶!!!

My dogs all time favorite treats! I carry them whenever I need her full attention as she is a very anxious dog and these treats hold her attention better than any others. Her favorite are the green ones but we’ve bought them all and we break them in half because they are pretty big to use as a training treat despite her 70 lb size. I prefer the size of the Zukes minis but she definitely prefers the taste of these and I will continue to buy them.
