Question for berrilys: a reviewer claims that this product is ground up after extracting the oil. is this true? the oil isn't included in the grounds?

In order to make powder from the black seeds some of the oil is extracted. Same goes for all the powders that are made from seeds that contain oil such as cacao powder, coconut powder and hazelnut powder. Otherwise when grinded these products turn into a paste not a powder.

Were the seeds oil pressed before being ground? Meaning are they "meal" which is a byproduct after oil pressing?

There’s no indication that it’s not the whole seed but there also is no fat in this product so I’m thinking that it might not include the whole seed.

Where were the seeds grown ?

The black cumin seed we use to make our black seed oil comes from mid-Turkey.

Voriges Mal habe ich bei einem anderen Anbieter bestellt und ich habe mich geärgert, dass es keine Pulver war. Diesmal ist es esganz anders. Es ist richtig gut, wirklich ein Pulver. Über den Geschmack kann ich wenig sagen. Ich esse es nicht ohne Jogurt oder Salat.
