Outdoor Women: Your New Superpower Has Arrived.
The EllaPee That Earned Its Crown Verified Purchase — and verified queen of every female urinary device I’ve ever tested. I spend a huge part of my life outdoors — fishing, camping, backpacking, and surviving conditions that make most people reconsider their life choices. Because of that, I’ve tried every female urinary device out there. Soft silicone ones that folded in on themselves, rigid ones that felt like using a traffic cone, and “innovative” designs that promised freedom but delivered chaos. The EllaPee? This one stands above the rest. Let me set the scene: I’m on a fishing boat surrounded by men casually urinating off the side like it’s a competitive sport. My option? A bucket. A bucket. Not anymore. The EllaPee has rewritten the rules. Emergency bathroom moment in the car? Solved. Backpacking when it’s -20° outside the tent and stepping out feels like a survival challenge? Solved. Hiking trips where packing in and packing out toilet paper becomes a whole logistical operation? Solved. And the look on people’s faces when I stand to urinate on camping trips? Worth the price all by itself. The design is where this thing truly shines. It’s made from soft, flexible silicone for comfort, but reinforced with molded structure so it keeps its shape when you actually use it — no collapsing, no surprises, no “why is this happening to me” moments. The longer spout keeps everything directed away from your body, and the slim profile means you don’t have to lower your clothing as much, which is a blessing in cold weather and crowded trail situations. It’s easy to clean, easy to store, and the carrying case keeps everything discreet and ready to go. I now keep one in every vehicle, backpack, and tackle box because once you experience this level of freedom, you refuse to go back. After trying multiple brands, this is the only one that nails comfort, control, durability, and reliability without any drama. If you’re a woman who loves the outdoors, hates freezing your backside off, or simply refuses to be excluded from the “pee off the side of the boat” club… the EllaPee is your new best friend. This isn’t just a product. This is liberation — verified.

So easy and perfect for camping!
This thing is a game changer!! Went camping for 4 days with the family, and this EllaPee device was awesome. My young daughter and I had to get up in the middle of the night to pee a couple times. It was pitch black outside and we did not feel like making the walk to the bathroom building. We pulled out the funnel (and some toilet paper/wipes) ran outside the tent, took care of business and went right back to bed. You don't even need to squat or worry about peeing on your pj's or feet. Just stand, hold the funnel in place, and go!! Wiped clean easily with a wet wipe until we could wash it in the morning.

I would give it 10 stars if I could
I've been traveling the country with this bad boy and it is the most reliable female urination device I've ever used. This is the only one that has never failed me, EVER. The silicone makes it a super comfortable flexible fit, the catch cup part is brilliant because it keeps everything contained, the elephant like nose is flexible and the perfect size for inserting into the mouth piece of a half gallon water bottle (for pee only) when going outside isn't ideal. My favorite part is after finishing, using the interior backside to wipe last dribbles. This is a perfect product for "going on the go"!

Interesting device!
I purchased this and the Venus to Mars female urination devices to try this stuff out. Similar price, utility, and included carry case. I thought I would like this one better because of the soft silicone rim and the enclosed exit tube, but when I've tried it I've found that it can be hard to aim the stream of liquid because sometimes it will come out in like a spiral through the tube and constantly change direction. I didn't have this problem with the Venus to Mars. It's usable, but I have to be more careful with aiming. Otherwise, the fit and comfort level were fine. It is larger and bulkier than a device like the Venus to Mars, so a bit less discreet. Maybe it would work better than the Venus to Mars if you needed to pee in a bottle? But I have not tested this out.

Life saver, great design for new users
Perfect design for new users. Most products of this nature would appear to be designed by someone not well knowledgeable with how females are equipped for urine elimination. Almost all others extend downward and not out. Most don't appear to go back very far to catch random splatters. If I tuck this one back & against my body to seal, it securely covers the entire area to prevent leaks. The funnel extends forward away from my legs & feet. After finishing, sometimes need to lean it forward a bit to empty it depending on my space. Perfect for hiking. I also work events requiring porta potty visits.. this is a life saver for those nasty things. Although there is a bag included, I just use a gallon size Ziplock bag to make it quick and easy to pull in & out preventing frequent washing of the included bag if I'm using it often.

Goodbye, hiking anxiety
This is my third, and final I'm happy to say, female urination device (FUD). Much like the bed in Goldilocks' fable, this one is just right. The first (obtained on Amazon long enough ago that I don't recall the name) works adequately if you drop-trou. It's a little better than just squatting because you can aim into the cat hole you dug. But really, anyone used to peeing it the woods can do that without an FUD. The spout on it is in no way adequate to use without a wardrobe malfunction of some sort. It still requires lots of privacy so you don't moon innocent hikers. The second is a She-Pee which in my case should be called She-Peed all over herself. I never tried this on the trail because I could never not pee on myself during practice. The reservoir is not wide enough to catch all the pee, especially if you, like me, try to stay hydrated on a long trail with little cover and end up having to go like a racehorse. The basin isn't wide enough and the detachable spout is a drip point as well. Third and final is the Ella Pee which I found while researching the Tinkle Bell (the creativity of the names of these things!) which comes highly recommended from NYT/Wirecutter. The EllaPee was slightly less expensive which was a deciding factor because I ordered more than one FUD to try. I'm so glad I did. For the next two days after I received it, I practiced with the hiking bottoms I wear most often: either shorts or pants with zipper. At first it was a squat work out because I was afraid of peeing on my feet. Women are just not used to this stance. Once I realized what I was doing, I developed a system, as follows. 1) Unzip and open fly as wide as possible. I don't know how to achieve results with tight clothing or draw-string pants. Others can, I was unsuccessful. 2) Stand up straight with legs slightly apart, knees unlocked. No need to squat. Stand so there's room to get the device and your dominant hand down your business. 3) Move underwear aside with non-dominant hand. 4) Put the device down your pants, fitting the back to sit comfortably but not tightly against the perineum. You will be tempted to wedge it in tight but don't. The front, hose part, sticks out the fly like a dude's factory equipment, in case that wasn't clear. 5) Pee. 6) Wait for drips to stop, remove the device and clean yourself as you see fit. I purchased a pee cloth which snaps to my day pack. I also have spray sanitizer and a travel bidet. I obviously can't use the bidet as designed with this endeavor but it does make a good rinse for the EllaPee. This may seem like a lot to carry just for peeing. For me it's worth the weight. I get anxious about trying to hold it for as many hours as the hike is plus travel to and from. No more sublimating my pee!

Thought I was good in the beginning
I thought this was good and tested it quite a few times. In the beginning it seemed good but after a few tests I ran into a capacity issue and overflowed it faster than it would drain. While it's easy to use while mostly clothed and I like how it's aimed forward, the narrow design and maybe the forward aim caused it to overview and defeated the purpose. I tried a different one and found it worked better for me.

This is the only one that works perfectly!
Oh my God! This is it!! Actually it is the only one that works, at least for me. This, and the perfect gotta tinkle that i've been using the last 5 years and the perfect PP-aid that I've been using the last month . The last 3 months i have spent so much money to find something that i can use without pulling the trousers down and without scuatting . And since i order almost all of them from usa to greece, the expenses are way more. I have tried pstyle and tinkle belle that are similar to each other and to ella pee but you never know if you are going to pee all over yourself with them, plus they hurt a bit trying to make a seal. I have tried sunany and su amiga (bought 2 of them 🙄 ) but they don't work at all. I have tried the shewee and the shewee flex, they worked sometimes but not to trust them..I have tried the pibella that is really good, except that I can't always put it right plus it hurts sometimes or if you use it often. Although it helped me a lot when i had to collect urine for 24hours and i had to poop also, so with pibella it was very easy to make the 2 business simultaneously but in a different place. So. When i received ella pee i thought this is the last one, and i thought that it won't work either or i wouldn't trust it every time. But...i have used it over 20-30 times at home and with tight leggings without having to pull them down and with very heavy flow, when you can't wait anymore to pee, and there has been not once any leak!!! At the time you start peeing you think you will get messy as you had with all the other fuds but you don't! It is perfect!!! I have tried with a bottle, at the toilet, and at a traveljohn. I'm looking forward to tried it outside, where i need it the most, like at dirty and narrow toilets where you don't have space for trousers down. I also have to say that i am about 100 kilos and it works perfectly for me. You just put the front part at the end of your front opening down there and the rest part finds its way by itself . It doesn't leak and doesn't overflows at all the way it is made! I have already bought my second one and will definitely buy more if this! Thank you!

utilissimo!
Basta lavarlo e riporlo ben pulito.

I feel unstoppable!
I love going fishing with my Father and Brother, the only problem is 9 times out of 10 we go to a place with no bathroom. I had thought about getting a female urinal for ages and finally bit the bullet, after comparing I chose the EllaPee for the shape and affordability. I will admit when it arrived I was worried as it looked smaller than I thought, I am a chunky gal, and was worried about it being big enough for me to reach where I needed to. As advised I tried it at home in the shower first, it was a bit awkward to place and I had to pull my pants down a bit, but I was shocked it worked so well the first try! I left some dribble behind but it was only my first attempt. I highly recommend it for any time you'll be away from a toilet, or the only option is a nasty outhouse!
