Feels like regular sunscreen, but it's safe for use in vulnerable environments
The last reef-safe sunscreen I bought left me looking like an extra from Casper the Friendly Ghost. It left a white cast on my skin, as well as everything I touched during my Hawaii trip. The Coral Isles sunscreen is easy to rub in and doesn't leave a mark on your skin. It did the job and stayed on over several hours of snorkeling, swimming, and sweating. No complaints!

Effective sunscreen.
We always take a reef-safe sunscreen with us on vacation out of respect to the environment. I feel that it’s a small action we can take to do “our part”. This one did keep us from getting burnt, but it was pretty thick.

Not reef-safe as ingredients are listed as harmful to reefs by people who know more then I.
Its advertised as being reef safe and that is why I purchased it for an upcoming cruise. When I got it i was surprised to find that of 3 ingredients listed 2 at least are listed on the "savethereef . org ", "Haereticus Environmental Labs" (HEL), and "sustainabletravel . Org" as damaging to reefs. The third is brought up in an AI overview of dangerous to reef ingredients and over at "sustainabletravel . org" as well so unfortunately I would have to take the word of the others about what ingredients are safe or not and do a hard pass on this item and will not be using it as ive been asked to use a reef safe sunscreen.

White Bois Can Survive The Bahamas
This worked great for me! I'm usually not that lucky with sunscreen, but this one in particular really saved my bacon! Got through TSA with it, lotion held up on my skin, and I got to swim in a reef! 10/10 certified vacay vibe saver.
