Needs work
Works ok, but stiff seems to have issues when all fingers are not completely visible, doesn't always do a great job estimation finger position. Neat, but I'd hold out for another future tech here, maybe something with a secondary camera angle included.

Great for Social VR Experiences That Support It!
Very nice product. I bought this to attach to my Oculus CV1. The mount stays firm and seems like it should hold for a while. There is limited software that supports the Leap Motion for VR. That being said, the games/experiences that do support it are fantastic. Using the motion controller in AltSpaceVr gives you a more immersive feel to the game. When you reach out your hands, it really does feel like they are yours. Catching objects however poses more of an issue. Latency and accuracy play a part in this. I don't doubt that I COULD catch something but it would require a good throw and an well timed catch. All in all, this controller is good for social VR experiences and probably some others that I have not tried yet. If you are into the social aspect of VR, I would recommend this product.

Needs more work
I just recently pick up this product on Amazon.com because I am a avid DCS world game player. I saw this on YouTube and found it be interesting to looking into, I order the product and hook it up. This is what my thoughts are on it. First the product does work. I was hoping to use it with DCS World, yes it does work to a degree, but not the way you expect. I will be retiring mine and may try again at a later date. I think the software needs more work on it. My hands did show up in in the plane, I was able to do the switches, the turn knobs were a little harder. It will loose hand tracking very easy. If you click a switch a mouse, the mouse does not go into the panel. With the Leap Motion it will, then you have to reset you hand position. If they get it to a mouse clickable cockpit then and not loose hand tracking, well would that be the day. I will keep my product, I am sure I can find other uses for it down the road, but for now I will have to wait on DCS World.

Great
Works really well, the only issue i'm having is the limited field of view otherwise its perfect. Keep in mind that this is a Dev Kit, you may experience some glitches from time to time. (even though I haven't encountered any major issues).

Functionality is key, and this device is not accurate enough to be used functionally by the average consumer.
This is an interesting piece of technology, but it is not nearly responsive enough to be functional for anything other than concept demonstrations. It shouldn't be branded as a consumer ready device, because it seems that it is beta technology that still needs to come a long way before the average consumer can use it for day-to-day tasks. While the technology is impressive, it is not functional in the way that any other pointing device is on the market. It also isn't worth the price.

Not as useful as one may hope
I bought this as an add on for my HTC Vive setup, and while I do find the technology to be pretty cool, I have yet to find real or practical use for this thing. Having the Vive Wireless Adapter, I thought that I could use the extra USB port on the headset to plug in this sensor, but when I do so I get read errors from the USB port. If wired to the PC directly, this issue is not the case. I have also found no games or useful software that support this controller.

If you know how to use it buy it.
It does exactly what it says it does. Rite now it's kinda a fun novelty. I attached it with Velcro so I could swap between headsets. I use it with a vive and rift.

got it to calibrate, still testing to write an honest review
Note when calibrating turn off all anti-virus (malwarebytes and hitman pro alert were preventing me from calibrating) another tip after installing restart your PCI just need to get iClone Reallusion software to recognize the device, Unity already does.will re-write my review after I go thru its capabilities with 3d software. also running 2008 win 7 AMD phenom II 970 GTX NVIDIA 8gb ram/vram USB2 (and it is responding, was expected to upgrade to a better motherboard for USB 3 support) but for now all my software export licenses do not have to migrate (next year I am sure I will have no choice)also note it did spike when calibrating (took 4 hours because forgot anti-virus was on
