Q: Help.. i'm looking for a memory foam that goes on top of the saddle- not under. is there such a thing? if so where?

Search for a "seat saver", that's what most of them are called

Q: can this go on top of the saddle pad or under the saddle pad

Typically a saddle pad goes between the horse and the saddle

Q: I ride a ''pony'' I'm wondering will this be too big? I have had past experience with half pads and saddle pads being too big

It depends on your saddle size. The pad sticks out roughly 2" on my 16.5 English saddle. I posted a picture for reference in the reviews. The black/white horse. He is roughly 16 hands

I works for western as well , just put it between saddle and pad , wish I could post the pic of it .
