Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia Eau de Parfum for Women, 3.3 fl oz

I've been very into Gardenia scents lately and figured I had to try the iconic Elizabeth Taylor at some point in my lifetime and I'm glad I did. It's a beautiful version that has a bit of sharpness to it on some notes instead of a cloying sweetness that some versions have (I'm not a fan of those). The result is a beautiful clear, fresh, clean gardenia. I've been using it every day after my bath and usually freshen up in the late afternoon. It lasts for hours and I've smelled it on my clothes the next day. While it's suitable for everyday use it can also be used for special occasions. It's a large bottle (and pretty to display) especially considering the price. It's well worth it. Mrs. Taylor knew what she was doing and there's a reason she rebuilt her fortune by developing and branding scents.

I LOVED Bond No. 9’s Saks For Her and was heartbroken when it was discontinued (it’s rebranded as New York Gardenia now). This smells almost exactly like it but is slightly fresher and slightly less coconutty. This is a completely perfect fragrance in my opinion. I usually hit eBay for Saks For Her but I’ll be buying this from now on instead. If you love Saks For Her too, I would say this is a safe blind buy and to consider it for the absolute astronomical difference in price.

Such a clean and fresh scent that reminds me of nothing but classy days gone by. Added bonus the bottle and presentation are adorable and look great on my counter top in my bathroom.

Elizabeth Taylor Women's Perfume, Eau de Parfum Spray, Gardenia, 3.3 Fl Oz Although I've been a fan of Liz Taylor perfumes for decades, this one was not what I expected. I was after something like Jungle Gardenia & this was not even close. The scent is pleasant when first applied, but it's a weak, watered down version of what I expected & the scent didn't even last until I made it to the door. Gardenia is not what would not be guessed if you asked someone to guess the scent. Tried it on my clothes & on my skin. Didn't seem to matter. Would only give 3 stars, but because the bottle is so exquisite (the picture on the Amazon description doesn't do it justice IMHO), I added 1 star back as I like how it looks among my other perfumes on my dressing table. But if you're looking for a Gardenia fragrance, keep on searching Amazon.

Smells amazing, exactly like a gardenia from my garden. Wish it lasted a little longer (I spray on throughout the day) but can’t beat it for the price.

Pretty bottle and a generous amount of cologne. However, I have gardenia bushes and this doesn't smell like them. I can't say the fragrance is awful, just not great. I can wear it for every day but I wouldn't wear it anywhere special. Jovan Island Gardenia is better.

Such a good floral scent! Not super strong or too "smelly", if that makes sense.

The bottle is beautiful! However, the scent is quite bitter. I almost always cough when I spray this perfume. It isn't so harsh after sitting for a while, but I've found a different gardenia perfume that I like much better, so I'll stick with that one.

This is really a long lasting perfume. The smell is really intense after spraying that settles after two minutes and lingers. I find a bit of coconut in it too but I guess everyone's chemestry with this smell is different but yes gardenia is there and it's a good one If you love flowery scent go for it. Arriving took more than a month so it was a bit irritating packaging was also old but as the perfume is fine so I let it slide thank you amazon.

I absolutely love Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia perfume. The scent is elegant, soft, and beautifully floral without being overpowering. It has a fresh gardenia fragrance that smells classy, feminine, and timeless. The perfume lasts well throughout the day and always makes me feel confident and refreshed when wearing it. I receive so many compliments every time I use it and will definitely be purchasing it again.

Found out about this product from a YouTube perfume specialist who said it was a greatly undervalued classic floral scent. I used to love Jo Malone Vintage Gardenia, but I've not seen it recently. Apparently gardenia is difficult to recrecreate. I find this quite good, although it is not as long-lasting as Jo's version. The bottle is an attractive art deco shape, made of glass and a vibrant green colour and there is a generous amount of product. (The box it comes in is rather uninspiring.) Definately worth trying if you like gardenias. I'm pleased I bought this scent and would consider doing so again.
