The media could not be loaded.  I bought two pairs of XuanWheel , one pair X1 and another S1. I’m a member of a professional night ride club, and I tried a lot of spoke lights, both programmable or non programmable. I also saw my friend took hours to install Monkey lights and carefully protected the lights from being damaged because they cost him so much money.Xuanwheel was recommended by another club member, and he initially didn’t expect too much for the little money spent. He has a test machine---something from his engineer workplace---I don’t know…but you can see from the video that what a surprise we’ve gotten.I’m pretty sure it will catch many many eyeballs. XuanWheel APP absolutely beats others with DIY and download, upload function. I don’t want to throw my money to those expensive spoke lights, and if you are also on a budget like me, I highly recommend xuanwheel. It’s even better than what is described.

The application that this is tied to is clearly not a product developed in the western world, but works for what it does. The associated application is the main reason for the 3 star rating.Luminous and vivid in colors. The calibration is easily disturbed during ANY prolonged riding. On non-stop trips of over a minute, the pattern will likely shift, even after carefully trying to calibrate. What does this mean to the image? It will often not stay oriented and will "jump" from one position to another rapidly. After doing my best to calibrate and research, I opened the product to see what the component quality was. As you may guess, very low grade accelerometers.LED sticks are fairly fragile, but this is mitigated as they are mounted inside the spoke well. It is better to set it as tight and centered as possible and only tighten frequently rather than ever moving. LED spacing is adequate tightness to actually display an image with a semblance of clarity at high speeds. Do not plan on putting anything of high resolution with the expectation to actually recognize it. Large pixel formats are best fits for this product - as would be expected.Regardless, the "whoa, did you see that?" factor and rubber necking (that you wont see as you're hurling past people at night) that comes with this is fairly high. Novelty factor is definitely rounding the 5 star corner here.Side note: Having this on your hub, and knowing that the picture is better defined at higher speeds, you will find yourself moving with increased veracity in the evenings. Second order effect is you will likely work harder and get in better shape. Third order effect is the recognition you will likely get from being in better shape from those of the opposite gender (or same gender to be fair). Fourth is getting that promotion or job you have been seeking because your significant other speaks volumes of how great you must actually be. I could go on, but in this day an age allowing your imagination to carry you forward is probably a practice in an function that is not typically and readily exercised. Enjoy.

This is very awesome, but I have one issue, and maybe I'm just dumb, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to upload my own image to display here. I bought these for my parents, and just bought the one with two arms for myself even though I can't figure out the uploading own image feature, but if anyone knows the steps for how to upload your own image to display, I'd love to know how to do it.The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the instructions for doing this are not anywhere to be found.*Edit* I figured out how to upload my own images. It's not very intuitive, but here's how:1 - go to the big green plus sign on the pic selection screen,2 - click on the circle that looks like it has a magic wand inside,3 - click on the starburst looking thing on the menu bar below the black circle4 - click on the plus sign on the top left of all the little pictures on bottom half of phone screen5 - select the picture you want to upload.Not sure why they couldn't add that to the instructions, but Mr. Xuanwheel, you have my permission to go ahead and copy-paste that into the next instruction manual so people don't have to putz around trying to figure out that feature in the future.Overall, awesome product though. Super cool, and waaaaaay cheaper than that insanely priced monkey light one. I can't speak of the durability, since I just got it, but seems pretty well made. Will just have to wait and see on that.

It works great but the problem is theres no way to safely secure it to your bike, which means you have to remove it every time you lock up your bike somewhere, which means it usually stays at home.

I feel like i wasted my money. 1st and for most theres no help for this product and what you find is ALL in Chinese or something.Its tells you there's 100s to 1000s of displays however Ive only seen like 7, with no way to find out how to receive more.Plus you have to be moving so fast to even be able to see the picture it's pointless. So what you wanna be out of breath to zip past a person or group of people so they can catch a glimpse.. product seems well built and links up easily and appears to display nicely once you reach 88mph.Quite honestly im not sure any of these is truly worth the trouble, the money or the hassle.. im sure the image is easier to uptain with the 4 spoke version but its still not gonna be at cruising speed

I was very excited about this product and thought that it would be a great gift for my children who are avid bike riders. Unfortunately, this product does not fit 18 and 20 inch BMX bicycles. This was somewhat disappointing since I had been assured that it would fit those sizes.

Coolest lights ever!!! I bought an extra one for my front wheel too!

Only bought one (S1), not realizing there was an X1 available with two bars. I was thinking I could buy another S1 if I wanted, but I don't see a way to connect two singles..Might be a nice option just in case. Lights bright and the customizability is a major bonus!
