Perfect smartphone camera accessory!
I purchased this filter set for my iPhone 6S Plus. I had a screw-on photo lens for my older iPhone model and that was more of a hassle than it was worth even though I really wanted to use it - it just seemed by the time I would get the lens on the opportunity I was looking to capture had passed. You will NOT have that issue with these lenses. This lens system is a quick and VERY easy option to really improve your iPhone pics. For my son's kindergarten graduation I quickly tried out all 4 color lenses and took "sample" shots of the stage - I quickly decide based upon the location and the lightening the grey filter would be best based upon my sample pics taken - the results were amazing and not disappointing at all. I couldn't be happier. I will be using these filters over and over again. The clip is easy to use - it is a quick and easy solution to adding a filter to your phone. The older screw on lens just took way too much time to position and get right - this is a a VERY simple clip which attaches to your phone (or case) and you can screw in whichever color lens you choose. Although I received this item at a discount - I would purchase this lens and the others by this company at anytime - they are the perfect compliment to any smartphone camera.

Achieve pro results with a smartphone camera
This review covers all three variations available for FOXIN’s clip-on lens sets. While it’s easy to download any number of free apps that will apply filters to your photos, adding colored or special-effect lenses brings an enjoyable level of experimentation to taking pictures. Each lens set comes with a clip-on lens holder designed to clip over your smartphone camera. You screw on one of the lenses to this clip.I used a Samsung Galaxy S7 for the photos below. You can see that the clip doesn’t hold the lens directly centered over the camera, but it covers enough of it to be effective. The clip has a rubbery surface on the inside where it comes in contact with your phone. The clip has a fairly strong grip, and initially I was a bit concerned that it would cause damage to the digitizer on my phone’s screen. I left it clipped on a book for several hours to weaken the grip somewhat, which did the trick.Star Filters: All three of the filers in this set create a “starry ray” effect when photographing light sources. It would probably look awesome when photographing a city skyline at night or a Christmas tree full of lights. I had to settle for the light in a local café for my examples.Colored Filters: These are great for emphasizing warm and cool colors of sunsets or landscapes, or apply vintage effects. The orange one especially gave a retro look to my otherwise boring suburban street. The grey filter worked like a polarizing lens, emphasizing the picture’s contrasts.Cross-Polarization, ND, Close-Up Filters: This set of filters fine-tunes a photo’s contrasts or manipulates how light is perceived by the camera. The Cross-Polarization filter emulates a smaller or larger F-stop effect (bigger or smaller depth of field). The Neutral Density filter evens out the colors in a photo equally so that they are picked up more evenly and aren’t washed out. The Close-Up filter is fun; it lets you get a great close-up effect when you are far away. This is especially useful when you don’t want to digitally zoom in with your camera (and lose resolution quality in the final photo).I REALLY enjoyed experimenting with these lenses and will definitely keep them on hand when vacationing for special pictures. If you are interested in exploring different ways to achieve special effects with your smartphone camera, these are great lenses to try out.I received a sample of this product to evaluate so I could provide an unbiased review.
