This stuff is amazing for smoothing my horses' manes and tails. Lasts a long time so I don't have to reapply everyday, saving me time!

I have been using this product for years. It's fantastic and I love the smell. Great detangler and leaves my horses tails shiney!

After washing mane and tail, I use surgical gloves to apply Vetrolin, so that it doesn’t stick to my hands. I apply one coat of Vetrolin to wet hair, let dry and apply again. I reapply and let hair fully soak it in as many times as needed until the mane and tail stops looking dry or brittle on the ends. Only after that process, I run a large tooth comb through the mane and tail, starting at the bottom and working upward. Sometimes I spread the process out over two days to get better absorption. The detangling effect lasts for several months on pasture horses, saving an immense amount of time in daily mane and tail detangling. Rain doesn’t seem to affect the performance. Even the occasional dried Bermuda stems and roots do not entangle in my horse’s thick tails when I use Vetrolin in this way. Several years experience using it this way. Never failed as yet. If you shampoo often, you’ll have to reapply after shampooing. Vetrolin, Please don’t ever change this formula. It works great!
