Easy to use and apply evenly, the scent is accurate and noticeable but not overpowering. Definitely softens and hyrdrates, as we have very low humidity here its immediately noticeable. Definitely worth giving it a shot if you are on the fence.

When I started growing a beard 4 years ago, a coworker introduced me to Detroit Grooming Co. I’ve tried 10-15 different butters, from different companies, since then but, I keep coming back to Detroit Grooming Co. Nothing else compares. The scent, the feel and the longevity they achieve, no one else can recreate. Buy this product and don’t look back. Update: I usually use the “Traverse City” or “Black” beard butters. This time I changed it up to the “Mackinac” and I regret it. Seems like this product has been sitting in a warehouse for over a year. It’s hard as a rock and gritty as a sandy beach. Pretty disappointing. In my pics you can see one is hard, and the other is buttery smooth.

Excellent product, only a thumbnail a day and keeps my beard tight and clean. The cherry aroma is very reminiscent of Borkum Riff pipe tobacco and a real masculine aroma. Just wish it came in larger sizes to save on shipping.
