Based on experience, I ordered 27 drives to get 24 good ones. Who knows what these have been through on their journey to me finally. They were new in box, which is why I ordered them, but 3 of them failed within two days. I expected that, which is why I ordered extras. The rest have been up for a couple of months with no sign of giving up anytime soon in an old, but reliable P2000 G3. Well worth the endeavor.

Its a refirbished HDD< get the damn warrenty, its cheap like the HDD.These are a great price, and out of 9, only one failed. I have a backup that I hold on to, but its been a year and no more have failed since that one about a week after I got it. While one other sounds a little weird at boot, they have all been put through extensive 7hr tests, and came back fine. In addition, everything is raid 10, and my important files are backed up off site.Not great in a corperation, but small business or IT guy in a basement with several thousand dollers of stuff on a server rack to his side, its a wonderful thing.

Purchased 12 of these drives, advertised as "new" from AMTECH. They are clearly not new, but all arrived in working condition and continue to work well after several weeks of usage. When I received them, the drives had between 24,800 and 35,400 hours of power-on time. The drives all have SMART self-test logs indicating that they were recently tested, so I believe these are working pulls that passed a short self-test before being resold.Overall I am satisfied with these drives, but I do not believe they should have been advertised as "new".

I ordered this drive to make a homemade Sand. This is one a couple of drives I ordered. So the delivery was good and product was packaged properly. I am very pleased with my purchase.

It arrived , looked in good condition. But drive was bad when it put it in my proliant dl380g6
