My son has really gotten into fishing, and this is the perfect pliers! It’s lightweight, cuts and grips well, and has a bonus tether cord so it’s not easily lost. It also looks great, very satisfied!

This is a very high quality tool. It is light weight, strong and durable. The cutting tool works well on all types of fishing lines and it opens easily with the spring loaded action. I wish it had a locking mechanism to keep the pliers closed but I guess that's what the included sheath is for, which is a nice bonus. All in all, a great bargain !!

This is my first set of pliers specifically designed for fishing and I am extremely pleased with this choice. BIG difference between this and a regular set of needle nose pliers. I love the fact that the lanyard is attached to the holster which is looped through your belt because the first use was on an ocean pier at night and I was not afraid of dropping and losing them. So far, I have not had to use the Lip Gripper. All our fish were small and manageable enough to pick up by hand.

First impression is good.Have used twice on salt water. No corrosion.Easily removes hooks and cuts all line types. Jaws don't come together completely so they aren't great for locking down knots with braided line.Carry holster works well, tether gives you piece of mind.Long term durability still not answered but salt usually reveals poor quality materials in short order, so I suspect these will last just fine.

I saw similar pliers at local fishing stores for over $60. I took a chance and ordered these for under $20. I can’t find anything negative to say about these pliers. Good size, feels sturdy, cuts my braided line clean and easy, comes with belt holster, comes with a clip on springy lanyard, lifetime warranty. Save your money and get these pliers. You won’t be disappointed!

These pliers were a great value. They are extremely sturdy and you won't believe the light weight of these pliers given that sturdy construction. I used them to rig a new rod and reel combo. The pliers cut the braided and monofilament line with ease. Very sharp. Great looking pliers. I am extremely satisfied!
