Yummy
If my dog could tell you what she thinks of these, she would say yummy! I tried a new flavor, the peanut butter honey, and she really loves these! I use them to hide her anti itchy meds. If I come into the living room with only my coffee in the morning, and no treat, she gives me a meaningful look, as if to say, hey did you forget my treat? Then, I will put my coffee down, hide her pill in the treat, and pinch it closed, so every part of the pill is covered. Then I give it to her. Sometimes, depending on the treat, you have to work on it, but the sides always cover the pill. Regardless, she loves her morning treat. She knows there is something inside, but swallows it anyway. I think she knows it is something mommy gives her for her own good. And that makes me feel good.

Taste
My dog needed something tasty to hide her meds in. These did the trick. The texture didn’t feel weird to me and she really liked them. They came individually wrapped and fresh. Quality is everything when it comes to picky dogs. Not to chewy and very effective.

Hard and not for use with capsules
I was using Pill Buddy all natural pill pockets and because how frequently I have to give my dog medications, it hard to keep paying the higher price, so I thought I give this company a chance, but after what recently happened after giving my dog his pill, I will not be using this brand any more. While I may not agree with paying the higher price, but I never had an issue like I had with brand, and only after 1 day. I wrapped the pill like I always do, but because this was hard, it wasn't easy for my dog and he not only spit out pocket after biting a little bit, causing his pill casing to ruptured, spilling white powder and some of the pill was missing... requiring me to call a 24/7 vet because he was going to need another dose if possible but given I wasn't sure how much he had gotten, I had no choice but to call the vet and check. Angry was not even adequate for how I was feeling. I will never use this company again. That was enough for me..I will be going back to pill buddy.

These may or may not work for you
Reading the packaging I thought I would receive 20 individually wrappy treats that I could hide pills in. You actually receive ten individually wrapped treats which you break in half, use one half today and hope the second half is still soft enough tomorrow to hide another pill. The treats do not have a hollowed out place for medicine placement and instead have a softer center you are supposed to shove your pill into. They are probably fine for pills, but my dog has to take small capsules which are sometimes not sufficiently sturdy to be pressed into the "soft" center. I have to first use an implement to create a hollow into which I can insert the capsule. My first day I grabbed the first pointy implement I found (a steak knife - Yes, I know but it was 5AM and my brain was not yet up to operating speed) and promptly stabbed my finger. Worse yet, I could not get to the band aids without waking up my wife and she does not like to be awakened at 5AM. Fortunately I had minor surgery recently and still had sterile gauze and paper tape lieing around so I did not have to disturb my wife. The good news is my dog loves these treats. I had been wrapping his medicine in cheese and that worked for about 2 1/2 months, but he then became reluctant to take his medicine. So far he has gobbled these down without complaint.

Great for dogs that can't have chicken or wheat
My dog is on a restricted diet, no chicken or wheat, so these work for him. They are on the expensive side and he takes many pills per day, so I lay the pill pockets on their side and slice into many pieces and keep them in a ziplock bag to keep them soft. He's not terribly picky so when I go to give his pills I take a slice of pill pocket and press flat between thumb and index finger for a few seconds to warm and make it squishier and then wrap around the pull or capsule and kinda squish it gently to mostly cover the pill, and hand it to him and he gulps it down. I used to use American cheese but he likes these better.

Works great, healthier ingredients, good for a dog with allergies
I have to give my Jack Russell medication twice a day. I normally use peanut butter but purchased a different brand than I normally do which resulted in a slight allergic reaction taking place. I went through a variety of items trying to figure out what was causing the reaction. I ordered these and made sure he only ingested his food (which he's been on almost his whole life), his medication, and these. It took about three weeks, but the patch of fur finally grew in and the reactions died down. The packets have two pill pops in each one so if you don't want the one you aren't using to dry up, I recommend using a chip clip or something like that to reseal the package.I like that the ingredients are better than most, the actual pill pops are softer than your typical one, so the medication just goes into the pill pops, rather than "stuffing" them like most of the other ones.Added bonus, they smell great!

Not What I Expected...
I appreciate the individual wrapping BUT my beagle does not care about these. It could be the molasses in it or the toughness so it makes the pill giving a bit more difficult. The texture is much harder than I thought even though they are still maleable they do/can crumble. Im debating whether or not to return these. I can definitely see my beagle completely ignoring these as time goes on...
