Great item. Just the job
Just used this to change my oil. It worked like a treat. I managed to get 4l out and my capacity is 4.3l. Drove the car for 10 mins to get the oil warm.My local garage wanted 120 quid for an oil and filter change. Took me 15 minutes and saved 80 quid. Got oil, filer and this device for around 40 pounds. If this breaks I will just buy another one. It’s well worth it. I didn’t fancy getting the car on ramps, undoing all the clips and pulling off the tray. This was so easy.Would highly recommend. This is all the garages use but in a larger scale. Managed to fit an air filter and air filter. Car is good as new now.

Clean oil
Brilliant. This is the best I can change my own oil at home and don't need to get under the car to drain. Easy to use. Value for money as after 2 oil change it's paid for it self.

Worlds great for my car Audi Tt Mk3
Not 5 stars because the pumps motor is quite weak and cuts out occasionally but more than good enough to pump 5 litres of oil out in 15-20 minutes. Also it works quite well on my car due to the oil filter being removable from the top.( well done Audi). On other cars where the filter is only removable from the bottom Id do it the traditional way as you’ve already jacked the car up.I was able to get most from the dipstick hole 5 litres but then removed the oil filter on my car and sucked about half a litre from there so got 5.5 litres of of 5.7 capacity.Took 1/2 an hour and 20 minutes of that was waiting for the pump. No mess, I’ll never go back to the traditional way now. The 200ml of oil I couldn’t get will just go through the new filter so not to fussed and the oil is really clean.Hate the old way and never managed it without making a mess. Tip is to get the oil hot and it comes out quicker as less viscosity.

Absolutely epic bit of kit for sure
Literally done a service in about 5 minutes if that, I used the pump to drain the oil, well suck it out. Then swapped out the oil filter job done!! It was so easy, straight forward & QuickGood bit of kit cheap and reliable, well worth the money. Packaged well too. I can't believe how easy it was instead of jacking up the motor and having all that faffDidn't have one problem with the pump yet and it hasn't leaked, and it's still going strong so far anywaysStraight forward to use very easy and common sense worth it for the one time buy but I think it will last a while to be honest, seems strong. Yeah it's cheap but it isn't bad quality drains well and I didn't prime it. I wanted to see if it could suck it through itself for the first time and it did with ease. I used it with a jump pack and it only took one bar out of 4 so yeah all round really good and I'm chuffed 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻I purchased the 80w red and black one another Amazon special with discount one of those buyers just scrolling through and things just keep popping up and then this popped up epic buy once again for sure 💯💯💯💯

Great device
I accidentally overfilled the oil and was preparing to jack it up/drain the sump etc when I stumbled on this.It just worked, first time without any fuss. I drained the excess away and am good to go in about 2 mins.Even if it works no more (which I doubt as the instructions/quality/packaging are refreshingly good), I feel it has been worth the price.I don't know if it would drain ALL the oil, maybe it would, but in all honestly it looks as though it will drain enough to do a full service.

Worked for two minutes, then died.
This pump worked for about two minutes. In the two minutes it was running, it was doing a brilliant job. I stopped it for a moment to change containers as my oil receptacle was getting quite full and it never turned on again. I took all the precautions and made sure the oil was never over 45°, no water and no air into the unit. Sadly, I was left with half an oil change and had to do the rest manually. Extremely disappointed. Your experience may be different, but mine was rubbish! For the price, I was hoping to at least get 5 or 10 uses out of it before having to replace it.

Didn’t want to start up
Nearly sent this item back. Connected it to a 12volt battery and only heard a clicking sound. Motor not spinning. Removed the orange cover and tried agai, Ning. Disconnected the power and had to move the big cog by hand as t was stuck. Put back onto power and then stared working. Helps if you are inquisitive and have some idea as to how it works. All working perfect now

good pump
very good pump. easy to use. I had some difficutly in the begining but that was due to not pushing the inlet pipe far enough into the oil pan. once i sorted that it did the job really well.
