Most hotels in India catering to Western tourists have "combo" outlets that accept European and North American plugs. But more out-of-the way hotels and guest houses do not, nor do most people's homes. So an adapter like this is essential. These are inexpensive, pretty solidly built, and they worked perfectly for me.

It worked perfectly,, no issues, easy to use.

The adpater is well-built and works fine. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because one of the 3 pugs had a loose component inside which I did not bother to check and see. It sounded like a loose screw so I did not use that defective one. The other two worked just fine.

I was skeptical from the picture of product and small amount of reviews, ordered anyway as I needed something less costly and quick. Product came individually wrapped in regular padded mailer. The product is well made and far better than other multi adapters in the market. Used extensively for my monthlong visit india. It's compact enough to carry anywhere. Used with laptop, hair dryer, phone chargers, it worked flawlessly. Please ntoe, these will not convert voltage. Good thing is most product sold these days works with wide voltage range (110-240). For USA hair-dryer - make sure it's it low setting when using it in india and it'll work like charm (I got this tip searching on the net). I highly recommend it.

I would greatly recommend this product to anyone who is planning to leave to India with their gadgets from this country. It not only works great, but they are available here at Amazon.com at a very great price. They are high quality products which are able to accommodate Cell Phones, Tablets and Laptop computers to be charged and used while abroad. Please be mindful that these are not converters but adapters to allow your regular plug in to work while in India.

I used these at the Hyatt Park Chennai, and at my cubicle for the week at my office, and they worked like a charm. I was pleased to discover that all of my electronics were rated to handle the voltage without an additional converter (meaning that I did use this plug adapter, but not a power converter). I plugged in my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, Dell Inspiron Laptop at both locations with no power converter, only these plug adapters. My Jiffy handheld clothing steamer worked without a converter, too, but it heated up very quickly, and I found that if I filled it more than halfway, it was spitting out water instead of just steam. Filling it halfway solved this problem, but make sure to unplug it as soon as you're done. Hope this helps! (I'm American, so I was using these adapters to go from US power to Indian.)

They fit okay and seem to be made better than cheap stuff you buy overseas, but they cannot handle much power. Mine started to melt slowly when used with kitchen appliances--I noticed this because the prongs started pointing in different directions. Maybe they're fine for charging a phone, but not reliable for bigger stuff.

We went on a 10-day trip to India and needed to get reliable and portable adapters to charge or use our electronics devices. These did the job perfectly! Fit in perfectly with the electrical outlets in India and we were able to use our electronic devices with utmost comfort! We have had experiences when our electronic adapters designed for certain countries in Europe did not work in those countries, so we were not completely certain that these would work as expected - and they did with flying colors!

My wall outlet doesn't support usa, uk, au device plug types. So, i ordered this 3 plug set from ceptics. Good quality by ceptics as always. Its 10A plug. It says it can handle load capacity upto 3000W. I need it to run coffee machine which i ordered from uk. Its only 1000W. So, it should be fine. Arrived on time. Note: This is only a universal plug adapter not a voltage converter. It only accepts different plug types. If you wish to run devices in India that have 110v rating then you will need a step down voltage converter.
