Very disappointed with it!
The ball that attaches to the mirror is just a bit too small so that mirror flops around and the silver arm is not very flexible so it is very hard to put in position. Overall I wish I hadn't purchased it but at this time of the year it's just not worth sending back and it's marginally better than nothing!

UPDATED REVIEW: Great tip given by seller to prevent a sudden suction cup release
It worked for a little over 3 months. Today the suction cup suddenly released from my bathroom mirror and the entire attachment & my Fancii Daylight LED 10X Magnifying Makeup Mirror - 8.0" Large Lighted Travel Vanity Mirror (Magnifying Mirror) fell onto my vanity. When I picked the Magnifying Mirror up to remount it, I noticed that it had cracked as a result of the fall. To my chagrin, I now have to purchase another Magnifying Mirror.UPDATE: I contacted the seller (Alista) and because all Fancii products are covered with an 18 month warranty, they gladly replaced the Magnifying Mirror at no charge. NOTE: ALISTA RECOMMENDS DETACHING & REATTACHING THE SUCTION ONCE A MONTH OR SO TO PREVENT GRADUAL RELEASE OVER TIME.

Never had problems
Mine is on my bathroom mirror, and it's been there for months. I have never had issues. It's very stable, and the only problem I have is taking the mirror off the holder. When I do manage to get it off, the suction cup is still there. You can slide it on the mirror a bit, but it is still there. I wouldn't make a habit of doing that though.I personally think it will work best on hard nonporous surfaces. Tried putting it on my plastic shower door, just to see if it work, and it will not.

It works as advertised but couldn’t get it to stick to another surface well. So had to keep on mirror.

Perfect Fanci mirror accessory
I love my Fanci magnified led mirror and it’s a perfect size for traveling but I found myself struggling to get close to my mirror and having to reach over the bathroom counter to do my makeup, this extension piece solves that problem! It easy to attach to my mirror and has a tight grip to most glass surfaces I’ve tried. The best part is that it fits in the storage/ travel bag that my mirror can in. Definitely a great purchase!!!
