Depends if the size of your Vizio is VESA compliant, meaning if your HDTV has mounting holes 100mm x100mm and/or 75mm x 75mm distance apart. Measure the distance from mounting hole to mounting hole vertically and horizontally. If they are 100mm spaced apart from each other, it will fit the VideoSecu arm mount.

I would like to know the distance out from the wall to the face of the mounting plate once it is mounted? How close can I put my monitor to the wall?

The unit measures 1 3/4" outside face to outside face but my monitors have an inset area where they mount so the actual distance from the back of the monitor to the wall is more like 1 3/8 to 1 1/2" (I have 3 monitors and they vary a little depending on the depth of the inset area). Good solid units, even extended!

how much does it weight

I agree with less than 5 lbs. But they are very sturdy and do a great job. I use 4 on monitors and tvs a 19,22,23 and 32.

What is length of the two swing arms? closest to the tv is shorter? I need to know. Please measure from center of pivot to pivot. 4" & 8.25"?? Thanks

closest to the TV is shorter. 5.25" and 7.5". Add 1.5" for swivel at TV.
