I’ve tried a few drawing boards but none so far have measured up to this one in terms of cut, quality, weight, look and finish! It’s quality birch plywood - not basic ply and it’s certainly not a hollow drawing board either.Having read the reviews, I made certain to seal mine with wax on all sides, before using it.Also, I purchased A3 +1 which is perfectly sized to allow for taping A3 paper to the board, with a comfortable margin on all sides.My only gripe is that I can’t seem repurchase my A3 +1 board, as the seller is out of stock 😢.I will wait for these boards, from this seller only, to return to stock.I’ve found that purchasing drawing boards from anyone else has, so far, been a waste of time, money and effort.I highly recommend solid birch drawing boards from this seller.

Ordered after midday on Friday and arrived Saturday a.m. (sent 24 hour tracked Royal Mail even though I was expecting 48 hour and came directly from the Natural Workshop), so very efficient processing and delivery from the company. Got the A4 + 1 inch board and it’s ideal for drawing - strong & sturdy without being too heavy. Good finish with slightly rounded corners and very smooth finish. Would definitely recommend.

No problems with this product at all but I’ve found that I should have bought a larger size as I end up cutting down my A2 paper to be stretched

These boards are very rigid and light. I now have 4: 2 a4+, an a3+ and an a2+. They allow plenty of space to tape down your paper and none have warped. I have tried cheaper mdf boards and they just didn't last.

Not as I expected. Not a lot of evidence of much hand finishing as quite sharp edges compared to the image.Next time I will go to B&Q, buy some plywood and get them to cut several boards for the same price. Then I will hand finish it myself, which is the easiest bit!

Purchased as an artist board, this is perfect, the surface is so smooth with all the edges nicely rounded. It’s a lovely solid piece of plywood. Granted it’s more expensive than some but there’s nothing flimsy about it.

I used this for drawing and watercoloring sticking my watercolour paper to it. Really happy with the quality of it would definitely purchase again much better than the mdf ones.
