This is a great table. It is incredibly solid. I think some of the reviews might be misleading about the veneer. This is not like any other veneer stuff I have had before. The legs and supports are likely a fairly thin veneer, but the wood veneer on the tabletop is very, very thick. Probably as thick as most solid wood tables. You can see it in the frame work where they drilled the holes that the MDF is inside very deep. Thus, it has the feel and look of a solid wood table, but is quite heavy (which is how you know there is MDF inside). The height is good, but the apron is indeed a bit low. The finish is absolutely beautiful, and the colors are a very dark, rich espresso, with lighter wood grains running through. My only quibble is that they tout the table as being thick. It is thick, but the top is not as thick as the pictures suggests. There is a frame running around the underside of the tabletop on its outer edge. The inside of the table is half the thickness you see in the picture, as you can see when you flip the table over to put on the legs. But it is still extremely solid. Quality is still very good, but description is misleading.On delivery and assembly: table is one piece on top. Just pop the legs on, takes 10 min. maybe. The delivery was outstanding. I chose the item and they showed up right when expected, and moved it into the house near where I assembled it. Very pleased. Package was completely undamaged, as was the table.I disagree with one reviewer. This is easily worth the money. There is no way you could come anywhere near this for $200. It was an outstanding purchase.

This table is solid, but is not solid wood. It's a mixture of a heavy particle board like material, and veneers. The apron is somewhat low at about 25", so keep that in mind when looking for dining chairs to go with the table. My 18" seat height chairs make it difficult for the gals to cross their legs comfortably. Also, if you're looking for an 8 person table, this one is somewhat cozy.It does have a beautiful dark cherry finish, and mine arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, with some very minor assembly required. Add that this table has feet that help you level it, and I'm fairly happy with it.

Beautiful table for the price. Nice solid contruction and a pretty finish. It's a little shorter than I invisioned, but still works well with the chairs I have. Delivery was seamless from Amazon. Window was from 3-6, got a call the day before to confirm and then about 30 minutes before arrival letting me know they were on their way. Arrived at 4:00. Perfect. Table was packaged nicely and had no scratches or damage at all. Construction was easy, just an allen wrench to slap the legs on and done! VERY happy with this purchase and would highly recommend the product for the price. I would say that this definitely exceeded my expectations and will be a nice setting in my home for a long time!

Perfect table for my small dining area. It is a beautiful table, heavy and sturdy. Easy to assemble. The only complain I have is about the delivery, I had asked for the table to be left at my front porch because I was working at the time of the delivery, but they left the huge and heavy box one block away at the front porch of perfect strangers. I had to make arrangements to have extra hands to help me carry the box to my house after apologizing profusely to those neighbors for such an inconvenience. That is why my experience was not great with this purchase, however I still recommend the table. Great product and price!

I'm sadly a bit disappointed with my table. It is beautiful, very heavy, super easy to put together, but scratches easily. The finish on the tabletop has dozens of visible scratches and a few chips from less than two months of regular use. I've used wood cleaners/polishers but they don't really help since it's the thick gloss finish and not the actual wood that I'm dealing with. I will just have to cover it with a tablecloth once it starts looking too bad.

Table is very nice and heavy, seems sturdy. As far as "delivery" I guess you have to be home for the drivers to tell you to open the garage? They put it in there instead of bringing it inside.

This table worked great as a desk for my clients. It is a nice dark brown color and had no issues with stability or finish. It is heavy and not cheap-looking at all.

It was the perfect square table for the small dining area I have. There is nothing I don’t like about this table
