they work great I used garden hose rubbers on the screw fittings and had no leaks. you have to buy the filters as they do not come with

A good, basic whole cottage filter system.
I use two of these housings in series, a coarse pre-filter and fine post-filter. Filter cartridges are available mail order or locally. A good, basic whole cottage filter system. I will keep these as emergency backup housings in the event of a deep freeze or lost o-rings.

Great water filter for home use.
Great product for water system from a well and works well as a filter should. Bought extra filters also as these should be changed every 3 months or so.
