Goldblatt Tools G05023 Pro-Grip Hand Sander

Q: Description states product fits ½ sheet of standard sandpaper, but given dimensions, it couldn't. Dimensions imply ⅓ sheet - is that correct?

This is 1/2 sheet because of the size. It is 9 1/2" long so it cannot fit a 1/3 sheet 9" length. The sheets need to be cut in half on the long side.

Q: what size sandpaper sheets work?

I previously wrote that you could get three pieces of 3 x 11 sandpaper out of standard sheet of 9 x 11 sandpaper -- which is true. But the sander is 3-1/8 inches wide. If you want the paper to extend the full width of the sander, then you can only get two 3-1/8-inches wide pieces out of a standard sheet of sandpaper. The sander should be exactly 3-inches wide -- but it's not.
