Lucy Goosey

The book itself was a delightful book for my 3 year old granddaughter, Lucy. I was disappointed in the condition it arrived in. I'm sure the damage happened in the mailing process. I wrote to the company who sent the book, more to let them know that they should consider packing their thin paperback books with a piece of cardboard to help avoiding the creasing problem as happened with the book I received. I got the book for a low price, so was not concerned about replacement, but it would have been nice if they had, in some way, noted my suggestion. Instead they said the book was in very good condition with minimal wear as was stated, and, basically, I got what I ordered. I agree that the book was in good condition except for the crease in the corner, which, as I mentioned, likely happened in the mailing process. I was just not happy with the way my complaint and suggestion was handled. I felt that all they actually read was my 'complaint'.

This book is precious from the story to the cover. We are expecting a baby girl in a few months and we are naming her Lucy. I can't wait until she is old enough to listen to this story.

Cute book, BUT the product details do not once mention that this book is used. In fact, it states it is new. However, after receiving the book, it is clearly not new. The spine is bent and damaged, the corners of the hardcover are bent, there are several pages in the book that are coming loose from the spine, and to top it all off it has a gross stingy sticker on the back that was filthy. Why mislead your customers? I was expecting a NEW book, not a second hand book. Shame on you!

Funny yet heart warming story.

I love this story. I bought this for my daughter who just had her own daughter. Now she will know how I feel about her!
