Great value, shaves close and smooth and it’s battery operated!! Easy to use

UPDATE: Now three weeks in, and I like it better as I get used to it. Plus, I finally used one of the trimmer guards to trim my beard. Guess what? It worked vastly better and faster than my "dedicated" beard trimmer. I'm so happy that this morning, I officially threw out my old razor and beard trimmer. Tip: If you're finding that you're not getting a close shave on certain parts of your face, slow down a little and stretch that area with your off hand. I find that doing that gets me a VERY close shave. And honestly, even when I feel some stubble after a quick shave, most of the time, I can't see it. This thing is so good that I just bought a second one as a gift for my son. Original review: I HATE shaving. I always have. I've never been able to use a blade without cutting myself--especially on my apparently too-bumpy neck and along the jawline. Even foil razors typically leave a rash. So my whole adult life I've used rotary razors, which mostly suck. I saw this a few months ago, but hesitated because it seemed too good to be true. It ISN'T. For those who complain the shave isn't baby smooth, OK. In my case, it's better than any shave I've gotten with a rotary razor, which is what I've used 99% of the time. PLUS, it has the benefit of being better than my trimmer at shaping up the edges of my goatee. I've only used it a few times so far, so I'll update if anything changes. But for now all I know is that I get a better shave than I ever have, it's super easy to use, and I'm looking forward to cutting down to just this tool for grooming. I'm not thrilled about having to buy replacement blades more often, but I suppose that's the trade-off for a cheaper electric and a better shave.

I've been looking for a product like this for a long time. It's not unusual for me to go long enough without shaving that I then have to use a trimmer before shaving. And as a stop gap between shaving just trimming means having to deal with it again shortly. I saw the ad on tv and it looked like it didn't leave any noticeable stubble and the product claimed to also be a shaver but I had serious doubts. Well I used it for the first time today and it is far better than I had hoped. I would have been happy if it had left day old stubble but it didn't leave any noticeable stubble, I looked like I had shaved. Now it's not as close as a blade but it's about the same as an electric razor, nothing noticeable but you can feel stubble. As suggested it helps to go against the grain so it picks the hair up to cut it but there is no irritation. I also used longer stokes like the directions suggest but on areas you can't do that it worked just as well. The two sided blade makes it easy to maneuver in any direction you need. The top edge for example does a good job below the nose where an electric razor struggles. It also cuts the coarse mustache and chin hair better than an electric razor. And while this was my least concern it trims precisely. I can't imagine using an electric razor again and would only use a blade if I needed a particularly close shave. It will be extremely nice to do away with trimming before shaving previously necessary after multiple days of not shaving. It will also be nice to be able to dry shave (even though it also wet shaves). The reason the title says almost perfect is the 8 hour recharge time. I can do a quick charge on my electric razor and it also shows the percentage of battery life left. For the OneBlade I'll need to keep up with how much of the 45 minute usage time I've used and be sure to plug it in the night before. If I didn't shave so sporadically I could probably develop a schedule but isn't that kind of one of the reason for this product. I wouldn't mind a heavier and bulkier shaft if it allowed for a quick charge battery and even a status bar for power left. Having said that I'm still extremely pleased to finally have something that trims and shaves in one step, dry shaves about as close as an electric razor and without the irritation of a blade even when using foam.

I am not super picky on my facial hair trim. I'll just start off by saying that. I think that this product does not do as good of a job as I thought it would but, it does get the job done. I do not shave my beard, and in doing so I only use this product for my upper cheeks and neck beard area. So keep that in mind while reading this review. It takes me about 10-15 minutes to get my trim done. The upper cheek area is the easiest part to trim. This product is a little difficult to be precise with. So if using it around a beard or facial hair there is a learning curve. My neck area is the most difficult and always has been. Maybe I just don't know what I am doing. I have to go back and fourth over and over the area to get it where I think it is what it should be. I have had visibly noticeable hairs after going over the area. I just have to go over it multiple times using different angles. I go slow but I feel like maybe a different product could do a better job for what I am using it for. Things to be mindful of. What are you going to use it for. If you are going to use it to shave your whole face, I think it would work well. My neck area has always been difficult. Maybe I have a difficult neck area compared to others. This product may work for your neck. It does an okay job for mine. The more time I put into it the better the outcome. This is very simple to use. Simple should equal quicker (my case is a little different because I have difficulty with the neck area). Again, maybe my neck is difficult and maybe I do not know the best techniques to use. Overall, decent product. I wish it did a better job but I will still use it because I do not get irritated skin and it is less messy than shaving.

Blade has held up its sharpness after a couple months of use, although it is prone to skin nicking on coarser hairs, especially around the nether regions.

Simplemente me ha facilitado mucho la vida. Corta con facilidad la densa barba que poseo, tiene tres niveles para ajustar el largo deseado de la barba (adicional al nivel al ras), y no causa ningún dolor. Casi toda mi vida me he rasurado con rastrillos desechables que causan un cierto grado de dolor, pero con esta máquina simplemente no hay ninguna molestia. Se puede usar en seco o mientras uno se baña. Lo único malo es que requiere una carga de ocho horas en la corriente alterna, y su batería soporta una hora de uso, pero en realidad puedes usarla varios días antes de que requiera recargarse. Si bien los repuestos son caros en relación al precio de la máquina, duran muchos meses e incluso puede ser más barato que estar comprando constantemente rastrillos desechables.
