Strange arty porn from Jean-Claude Brisseau
A strange film from Jean-Claude Brisseau which purports to explore the taboo subjects involving female sexuality. The strangeness is the involvement of two angels who are sent, who knows from where, to kill the director who is making the film. There is plenty of nudity from the gorgeous female actresses who are employed to discover their own sexuality and to give pleasure in couples and threesomes; plenty of writhing about and moaning ensues. The film tends to drag a bit even during the sex scenes and the ending is as weird as the rest of the film. The restaurant scene was amusing, though. I quite enjoy these arty type films. The UK DVD is well produced with very good image quality. Aspect ratio is 1.33:1. Run time is 99minutes. Language is French with English subtitles. There is a set-up option for Dolby stereo or 5.1. Other extras are a photo gallery, a deleted scene and an extensive interview with Jean-Claude Brisseau and the film's editor, Lisa Garcia.

Can a French film be too explicit?
A rather engaging movie depicting a filmmaker's efforts to record what he sees as vital questions about the human condition through the lesbian antics of a group of young women. It's very explicit (maybe too much so) but worth a watch. As with most French productions, the acting's excellent and photography of a high standard.
