A channeled guide to the life-death transition experience and how to prepare for the wonders of the afterlifeโข Reveals the afterlife as a fluid realm of imagination and invention, a luminous landscape created entirely of consciousness โข Explains how to navigate the early stages of the afterlife, how we learn and grow in the spirit world, and how to release anxiety about the end of life โข Includes exercises and meditations to prepare you for navigating and communicating in spirit There is no better source of information on death and the afterlife than someone who has died and lives in spirit. Channeling his late son, Jordan, psychologist Matthew McKay offers a postdeath guide for the living, revealing in vivid detail what to expect when we die and how to prepare for the wonders of the afterlife. Specifically describing the transition experience and the early stages of the afterlife, including how to navigate each stage, Jordan shows how death is a fluid realm of imagination and invention, a luminous landscape created entirely of consciousness. He explains how a soul that has newly crossed over is an amnesiac, arriving without senses, a nervous system, and all that has anchored us to the world. Jordan details how to navigate without a body, how we learn and grow in the spirit world, and how to release anxiety about the end of life and instead view it as another stage of being. He shows that the inferno described by Dante is an optional nightmare caused by thought projections that overwhelm the newly transitioned soul, and he reveals that the bardos are where souls who are beset with fear and false beliefs spend time learning and recovering. Providing profound relief from the fear of death, as well as exercises to prepare you for navigating and communicating in spirit, Jordanโs message reveals how love is the bonding element that holds all of consciousness--and the afterlife--together. McKay also documents the unbreakable bond between the living and the dead and teaches the skill of channeling, allowing you to connect to loved ones who have passed. Well Written Overview of Possible Afterlife Dyanmics
Well worth a place on any bookshelf focusing on afterlife dynamics. The writing is crisp and clean and the authors have clarified and simplified some traditionally obscure metaphysical concepts and descriptions about the realms beyond the physical. The role of personal energy, beliefs and the dreaded life judgement review are all examined in a balanced way. The authors have skillfully removed some of occluding layers relating to the underlying forces of our psyche and larger consciousness. This is a well-intentioned and convincing effort to affirm that our bonds to each other continue even after the physical body is given up. This book is much needed in a world where death-avoidance seems to be at the root of so many destructive activities, both at the personal and global level. Life does seem to be a play of consciousness and this book goes into some depth to illustrate this age-old postulation. My biggest criticism is certain references that I feel, undermine the proclaimed transcendence of this narrative. For example, Sai Baba is referred to in glowing terms as a great world teacher. I am not certain about Sai Baba's spiritual role here on earth, but a little 'on-the-ground' research would have revealed some questionable aspects about that operation in India. There is also a disparaging reference to psychics and diviners as scammers because nothing is written in the 'future'. While that is true about some charlatans advertising and selling abilities they don't have, there are other people who can pick up energy patterns beyond our 5-sense matrix. There are references to such abilities and seers in the bible, discussions about scientific remote viewing, Jungian psychology and many ancient traditions. It's odd that someone who claimed to have received channelled information from the afterlife dimensions would be so dismissive of others who also explore similar realities. But in spite of these tired, old opinions, anyone interested in realities beyond the material realms, should read this book. It may answer some deeply disturbing existential questions and offer solace to those who are grieving and wondering about life beyond the veil.

Wonderful Book
This is a wonderful book that helped me to see that death won't be the end of my existence, and also allowed me to know with certainty that my loved ones who have passed away are definitely in a better place. The book is written in a style that is easy to read and comprehend and I am glad that I purchased it. I learned a lot from reading this book and I am no longer afraid of death. I very much recommend this book.

Not as comforting as I hoped
I would consider myself a spiritual person and believe in an afterlife. I was curious about this book, but my main takeaway was the afterlife seems very busy! I thought I would find this book comforting, but I didnโt. The print quality or choice of typeface is poor, there is a blur/halo on the bottom of each letter so it was like reading with double vision.
