The cord works great for other items but it did not fit my camera. This was a user error not a misdirection form the manufacturer.

Product appears to be well made and solid. Connected my camera and PC and was able to download my photos without removing the memory cards. Being able to download directly will reduce the risk of damaging the pins on the camera's memory cards.

Works beautifully with my Canon, and is of much heavier duty construction than the original cable that came with the camera. This was purchased to be my 'travel cable', the one that gets stuck in the pack and tossed about. I feel confident that it will hold up to the wear and tear ahead of it. Good product.
