Safariland 7360-7TS ALS/SLS Mid-Ride Duty Holster

I recently needed to replace my duty holster which was a level III from a different manufacturer. I ordered this holster to carry my Smith and Wesson M&P9 M 2.0, and I am extremely happy with my chioce!!! This level III Duty Holster fits perfectly on my duty belt and keeps my sidearm safe and secure!! While no holster is completely free from a determined individual who wants to grab your weapon, this holster comes pretty close to be the ultimate in safe retention. The ALS and the SLS componets work flawlessly. In practicing with this new holster, it did not take me more than 100 or so draws to feel comfortable with its mechanics and feel. A couple of hundred draws later, and I was able to get my sidearm out of the holster and pushed out on target in about 1 second!! This well engineered and very well manufactured holster is also very comfortable on my duty belt due to its light weight and because the loop section for my belt is curved in such a way as to make it blend well with my curve in the waist area. OK. So now you have the ins and outs of the holster's systems and comfort......but I have not addressed its appearance. In flat black, this holster looks great as part of a uniform and definitely conveys the message that it is ALL BUSINESS!!! The material that the holster is made of does not in any way scratch or deface your sidearm......it is a special type of polymer that will not damage the finish of your weapon. This holster from Safariland FUNCTIONS GREAT......LOOKS GREAT.......AND TREATS YOUR SIDEARM GREAT by not causing any blemishes. If I could give this holster a 10 star rating I would do it in a heartbeat!!!! Safariland makes this same type of holster for a wide variety of typical duty weapons, so you should find one to fit whatever you or your department mandates as your primary duty weapon. Don't hesitate to purchase this fantastic holster. The price is extremely fair, and the quality is second to none!!! Oh.......by the way.....let's talk about utility of this holster. It will fit a S&W M&P9 2.0 in 9mm and 40 cal perfectly.............but it also will holster a Glock 19 Gen 4 just as well.....with all of the outstanding fit caracteristics and perfect functionality of the ALS and the SLS retainment systems. Just thought folks would want to know this cross-fit ability of this Safariland Holster!!!!!

There is no alternative, these are the best holsters. What level of retention you choose should be based on your needs. Law Enforcement would lean towards Level 3 retention and for good reason, but military personnel may find that level 2 is enough. Cops just go hands on more with nonlethal threats, and certain MOS's/Rates/elements of the military need fast deployment of a sidearm when their primary goes down. SWAT and Military Police find themselves in between, and that's your call.The only modifications I make is adding a single leg strap to the mid ride, which offers a more stable platform for drawing. Most importantly, the OTB thumb extension is a MUST. Safariland really should make that modification themselves, but otherwise its flawless for what it is.Big recommendation, just don't think you can conceal it lol.

I have safariland holsters with the ALS system for my M&P 9mm, glock 17 and 19, PX4 storm, and Sig M18 with light and optic, and now just ordered the glock 17/19 with light holster as well. Works well with my TLR1-HL. Some of the holsters fit a little snug compared others depending on the pistol, but overall great fits, very little rattle or movement if any, very secure and fast drawing. I use mine hunting in the PNW where its VERY rainy during rifle season and never had an issue. The MLS and QLS systems add a lot of versatility to the holster allowing you to quickly swap out paddle, belt loops, drop leg etc, and you can add belt loop attachments to your packs then easily move the holster from pack to pack or to truck or belt etc etc.Honestly I haven't found a better holster system and is all I buy now. Just need to find one that'll fit Canik now!

these multi-level holsters are expensive. this is a Safariland level 3 retention. well made and duty worthy. has the butt hood and thumb break with auto lock. I prefer the waist high position so i bought the matching belt loop mounting for this mid rise holster. I returned this in preference to another brand L3(BH) and the fact the shipping was delayed a week the day it was to be delivered.

Why was I thinking of returning it? It was very tight initially, which I wasn't expecting. I have other Safariland holsters, both ALS and GLS, which fitted perfectly out of box. The difference here is the lining. My others have no lining at all but this holster has a suede lining, which made the fit tight. The ALS thumb lever was shorter than usual with less leverage, making it stiffer. The suede does compress and break in with time and practice draws and the thumb lever does loosen up, so have patience. While breaking it in could be mitigated by making the holster slightly oversize, it doesn't really take too much time. Once broken in, you'll be happy with the usual Safariland quality.

This is an absolutely amazing duty holster.I carry a S&W M&P 9mm 2.0 and it fits very well.No juggling or movement while it is in the holster and it looks great .If you are on the edge or unsure if you want this , GET IT.Do make sure it is compatible with your weapon first of course

For non-Military/Law Enforcement, this holster is perfection.Slim construction.Rigid.User Friendly ALS.Lightweight.Safariland is my holster of choice.

J'ai commandé 2 étuis pour mes Beretta et un était parfait mais l'autre était pour une autre marque un Glock. Donc je suis très déçu. Ils sont ressemblant mais non pas la même forme. Le préposé de Safariland a dû confondre. Mauvais service après vente.
