It is hevy compared to our old one but much more stable and a lot better quality a little tricky to erect but when you get used to it its fine

A solidly built ironing board, as one would expect from Brabantia. My last Brabantia ironing board was 20 years old and I’d still be using it if I hadn’t just moved to another country.

Good ironing board that delivers on its promise. It does not feel as sturdy as the weight makes you think. It had a wobble out of the box which was less than ideal for the price. We left it open with a little bit of weight on it and it settled after a few days so be mindful

I ordered this ironing board and was very disappointed when it arrived. The size and quality were completely different from what was advertised. It feels cheap and unstable – nothing like what I expected based on the description and images. When I tried to return it, I found out that a refund was practically impossible. I’ve been waiting for the past 3 days for the item to be collected, and every day ends the same way – a last-minute message saying they couldn’t collect it and would reschedule. Still no progress. Customer service has been horrible. There’s no clear way to contact anyone directly – just automated messages and no accountability. Honestly, I feel completely ignored. Avoid this seller if you can. This experience has been nothing but stress and wasted time.

It’s a nice ironing board; it’s easy to erect and it’s nice and sturdy. I bought this as our old ironing board was a Brabantia and it too was good, so I measured the board area and this one was exactly the same. However, there is an issue and that is that the feet on this board are spread wider than the previous, same board size, Brabantia so it doesn’t quite fit into my ironing board cupboard. One other issue is really an Amazon criticism, if it’s Prime delivery why does it take a week to deliver a commonplace ironing board? I could/should have gone to my high street and bought it for the same price, it would have saved the wait.

I replaced a 60+ year old. puirchased used ironing board because I need a taller one. Previously to the Brabania I purchased and returned a cheaper ironing board from Amazon because it was not stable. I'm fortunate that I can leave it up so I can't comment on the weight. The cotton cover was a necessary feature for me as I itched when the cover had silicone.

Fantástica tabla de planchar, tras dar varios palos de ciego con varias tablas de planchar que a pesar del precio eran sumamente inestables, decidí comprar esta que por su comentarios parecía que iba a proporcionarme lo que yo buscaba. Ha llegado en perfecto estado y con el embalaje de burbujas protegiéndolo en un estado perfecto. Valoraré sus aspectos según mis expectativas: 1-Estabilidad: cuando compro una tabla de planchar busco que sea muy estable suelo darle bastante caña a la plancha cuando plancho y no me gusta que la tabla de planchar me baile y se tambalee incluso resultando peligroso, pues bien está tabla de planchar Brabantia es sumamente estable, no se mueve en absoluto mientras plancho. 2-Superficie de planchado: En mi mi caso busco que la superficie sea larga y ancha y aunqie brabantia tiene una tabla de 45 cm a mi con los 38 cm que tiene esta tabla de ancho me resultaba más que suficiente es más ancha que las habituales y proporciona mucha comodidad y rapidez ya que planchas mayor superficie en mayor tiempo, lo mismo ocurre con el largo ya que para sabanas es ideal para ahorrar en tiempo. 3- Altura: Espero que la tabla que compro se alta puesto que sufro de lumbares y no me gusta planchar encorvada porque además soy alta, pues bien, está tabla de planchar es de altura graduable y la maxima es perfecta para no planchar encorvada. En cuanto a su acolchado es perfecto, la funda es muy acolchadita lo que hace que sea mucho más fácil planchar y además es preciosa. La superficie para dejar la plancha es bastante amplia y admitiría un calderin de tamaño pequeño. La tabla no es ligera pero tampoco pesada en exceso, no obstante opino que una tabla de planchar ligera es igual a inestabilidad, por tanto para mí una tabla de planchar con peso y consistencia es igual a estabilidad y calidad. Además para cerrarla tiene unas agarraderas en la parte de atrás para que las patas no se caigan y queden perfectamente plegadas. En resumen, estamos contentísimos con nuestra compra y le damos un 10 y encima la hemos comprado a 30 euros menos del precio que vimos tan solo una semana antes.
