as the late bill guitar harris said, this book is on music stands all over the world. the songs vary from simple to challenging and include works performed by artists such as dela torre, bream, williams & segovia. comparing recorded performances is very useful for interpretations of the songs. there is a tendency for longer & more challenging songs to be at the back of the book. this book provides a large number of songs without worrying about buying individual sheet music.

Extremely difficult. You'd better be a pro or you'll never be able to play these. Some pieces are easy enough with considerable practice, but the majority are beyond the scope of even an intermediate player.

Loaned mine out to a student years ago and never got it back. I'm so glad to have it again. Many of the early pieces that I play were from this book. Yey!

Excellent book I purchased a copy back in the 70's and it was getting in tough shape so I bought another copy and had it bound.

I'm a thirty year of the Knoville Guitar Society and this is the gold standard!

I originally given this book as a young classical guitar student. I always enjoyed it, until I lost it. Now I am playing through it again, and just love the music.

pieces ranging from easy to advanced. So, anyone can pick up this book and learn and progress in their guitar skills. great repertoire.

Nice compilation.The printing is not so fine as the original, but quite readable anyway.

Full of some amazing pieces but most start at grade 5 I would say.

Brilliant book, exactly as dedcribes and has some fantastic pieced in it.
