Review: We loved this! - We used this as the spine for our homeschool study of Ancient China (my kids were in upper elementary and middle school). We found it to be well-written and engaging (we used it as a read aloud). We have also used other books by this author and plan to use a couple of others in our homeschool later. Definitely get the updated editions of these books... the earlier versions don't include as many maps and photos as the updated ones.
