Grands fans de Pickomino, j'ai offert cette extension à mon conjoint. Au départ un peu perdu dans les explications on a finalement vite prit le pli. Et quel bonheur ! Cela modifie complètement nos stratégies et notre façon de jouer et nous oblige à chafouiner l'adversaire ! Excellent

Extrawurm ist eine super Erweiterung zum Spiel Heckmeck. Es werden neue Funktionen und Materialien mit ins Spiel gebracht die das Spiel noch spannender machen. Die neuen Regeln sind leicht zu verstehen und liefern einen super Spielspaß.Meine Mutter, welche eigentlich eher ungern Spiele spielt, war sehr begeistert von der Heckmeck Erweiterung und wir hatten schon viele schöne Spieleabende.

The original Heckmeck is far less well-known than it should be. Whenever I have shown it to other adults, they have been captivated, and many go off and buy a set. The pieces are tactile, the mechanics are simple (once you've played a game), and it has the great advantage of not needing a scorepad. Adults buying it may also be thinking that it's a good game to show their children and grandchildren because it requires some basic mental arithmetic. However it is a game of chance. No matter how good a judge of the probabilities you are, you can still lose.Heckmeck also has the intriguing facet that you can join in mid-game, without any visible loss of winning chances. Perhaps that is its great appeal as a pub game. Go buy a round of drinks, while the rest get started on the game.Extrawurm introduces new complications -- the additional rules are about 50% longer than than the original rules, which still hold, by the way. I think it needed them, frankly. The new rules are not well-written -- what were previously called 'tiles' are now referred to a 'RWP's for instance. (It's also not absolutely clear to me that you don't have to hand in a Bratworm at the end of a failed attempt if you don't have the sitting hen.) It is frustrating to feel obliged to type up and edit a 'proper' set of rules, but I guess this means you can keep the original printed instructions pristine.Anyway, getting on top of the new rules is part of the fun of this game, as is introducing it to others. Just don't put too much effort into understanding the scenario -- worms, a weasel and a raven sitting on a grill -- I hope the children of Germany, France and the UK aren't too bewildered by this analogy.
