Love these lights

This is a nice footprint at 14" long and really light sup the space of my 40x40 pole barn. At approximately 13' high and 13' spacing, 9 fixtures really do make it seem like daylight in the shop. I love that they are genuine Lithonia fixtures. Great price for exceptional product.

You know those old 4' fluorescent fixtures you've seen in so many garages? The ones that flicker and hum when it's cold? That's what my buddy had in his garage when we replaced it with this. He was going to get new bulbs for the fluorescent, and I was like...why not go LED? So we yanked that old steel fluorescent fixture out and wired this up. When you look at it in the pictures, it almost looks like the led strips are adjustable, but they aren't. So if you look at these and go, hey, those look like they pivot...well they do have that appearance, but they do NOT pivot. But we wired it up and it didn't really matter that it's not adjustable, it's so bright. As in, if you come in from the dark and turn it on, it hurts your eyes if you look at it. If you were to ask me, how does it compare to the old fluorescent fixture? There IS no comparison, beyond to say it's 2-3 times as bright as that fluorescent fixture on it's best day with a 20% overvolt. Its so bright, it makes you want to take the old fluorescent light out of the dumpster you just threw it in just to hit it with a hammer and ask it "Why? Why were you so DIM???" We didn't do that, by the way. Trust me when I say, if you go into your workspace and turn on a set of old fluorescent fixtures, you need to invest in one of these babies. Throw those old fluorescent fixtures away. It's time to move on.
