Ive had really bad issues with sleep due to illness. I was on sleeping pills from the doctor for months as I couldn't sleep without them. I then moved onto an anti depressant to help for sleep but that just knocked me out and I had to stop taking them after one week. I decided to pick these up on just the off chance that they would work. I wasn't expecting much as herbal supplements usually don't work with me. But these really seem to work so far. I take an hour or so before bed and they help me drift off with no issues. Since taking them my sleep has been really good. And I don't get any nasty side effects like I did with the prescription medication I was on. So far very happy and long may it continue.

These are easy to buy and short of sleeping pills but they do take the edge off getting to sleep. I haven’t tried more than one tablet so far.

I ordered these Kalms Nights to assist with sleep during a rotten few months personally, and have found them really helpful. In our family we have used herbs for generations so I was already equipped with some good basic knowledge on cautions etc. I take one tablet a night an hour before bed. I try to get into a sleep routine, as you would when putting a small child to bed, and once there use yoga breathing and an audio book on sleep timer. I believe all assist, but I wasn't sleeping at all before I started on the tablets. I intend to wean myself off them as I work through the natural process of grief. The tablets have no flavour at all, and are slim and smooth - easy to take with a big gulp of water. The price of just above £5 is acceptable to me for a sleeping pill - you want to know manufacturers are reputable etc. Kalms are made by a family-owned company, in business since 1930, and this really suits my beliefs and values. Also, in a purple coloured pack, they are easy to identify if you have a visual disability as I do.

I buy these for my husband who finds it hard to wind down at night with business stresses on his mind. They really help him sleep sounder. I use them too when feeling stressed. It may be placebo but I feel really sleepy within an hour of taking them. The only problem with them is they smell quite strong. If you hold them in your hand too long the smell they leave behind bears an uncanny resemblance to something quite unpleasant that has you rushing to wash your hands. I hold my breath when I take them but it doesn't put me off as they work well.

Bought for the long haired indoor general. They work, knock her out like a punch from a heavy weight boxer. She sleeps so sound I keep checking her to make sure she's OK, so they ruin my sleep. She doesn't use every night as its not good to get dependent but just occasionally, probably when I'm driving her round the bend like writing this or saying Yes dear.

Bought in desperation as I haven't been able to get the 'caramel' liquid nytol I usually take. I have trouble taking tablets at the best of times but assumed these would be small enough to be okay. They are *huge*. Bigger than an average paracetamol tablet. When I have eventually worked up to being able to take them - after a lot of gagging - I have found them to be entirely ineffective and pointless. Very disappointed.

Take 1 hour before bedtime. Relax as much as you can in this hour following a routine. Once you feel a little dreamy and sleepy go straight to bed and to sleep. Definitely works. But you have to be chilled first somewhat for it to work.
