Foam pencil grips
These new foam grips are just what the doctor ordered. Being a quad plegic and just being able to use one hand. These are the greatest things that I have found to help me keep a pencil or stylist in my fingers. They are made with two small areas for your fingers to fit across and keep a good grip on the pencil or stylus. And the high volume that you get for the money you pay is extremely reasonable. They are very well-made. Moldable colors so as you can distinguish what is in the color you select for certain objects. Very well priced. Will buy more if and when I need more. Larry E.

It fits on an Apple Pencil
It’s easy to hold and it’s comfortable. It’s very thick, but I’m sure overtime it will soften up. It does come in a lot of different colors, which is pretty cool if you wanna change it every now and then. writing is perfectly fine.

Grips are 4 1/4 inches long & 1 1/4" wide fatter places & 1" wide skinny places - hole is 1/4"
These are pretty big, but if you have arthritis or have trouble gripping a pen or pencil, they help. I just opened the pack & noticed that there's lots of comments that they are huge, but no actual measurements. It's hard to get a photo that looks like it does to the eye. These are 4 1/4" long & 1 1/4" wide in the fatter parts & 1" wide in the skinny parts. The hole for the pencil is 1/4" or 5 millimeters. It's pretty tight to get on a pencil out of the package, I did have to twist the pencil part of the way - but most pencil grips are tight when new & they do loosen up with use usually. I didn't have a standard #2 pencil handy, so I used a hotel pencil that should be the same size. The foam is firm right out of the bag, but not hard like some of the silicone options. Some described these as handlebars in other posts & they do resemble them, but my handlebars always had hard grips. Since I just got them, I haven't used them much - I did notice that my handwriting is a little different with them because they are awkward right now, I will have to get used to using them, but just wanted to share the size right away so others can have the answer. Hope it helps! I have arthritis, so holding a regular size pencil or pen is painful & you can't read my writing after a few minutes - I have tried several different pencil grips over the years & they are either too small & too hard or my arthritis has progressed more so they aren't comfortable anymore. Years ago, I actually purchased thicker name brand pens designed for arthritis & it's hard to find the ink refills now, so I went back to the under $2 multi-packs & pencil grips since it's cheaper & readily available. Edit: I found a standard #2 pencil & it slides through easily, the hotel pencils & other novelty pencils are a little bit bigger than the standard #2 pencils. Both do work, you just have to twist the bigger ones to get them all the way through - the standard #2 pencil is perfect. My Bic pens slide in easily too.

Great for Crochet Hooks
I have painful osteoarthritis in my hands, specifically in my thumbs and index (pointer) finger. The holes are a little big for some hooks so my hubs just wrapped a couple of layers of electricians tape then push the cushion down onto the hook where it feels comfortable to hold. All other arthritis grips and ergonomic hooks just were too small and did not help alleviate the pain. These are cushioned just right for my hands. So give them a try at a great price!

only for ppl with big hands
these are too thick and too long. not suitable for little kids or adults with small hands. it is difficult to wrap around the pen or pencil with this cushion. if it can be about 30-40% thinner and 30% shorter, it will be a great device to use.

Way big and too tight.
These were much bigger than expected. When I tried to slide … it wouldn’t budge. I cut one in half thinking it would slide easier and it would not. These were a really tight fit.

Chrochet hook helper
I actually use these on my crochet hooks. Makes them 100% more comfortable. My kiddo uses them on their pencils and it helps their hand not get so tired.

Perfect for crochet hooks!
Hoped these might be helpful w my crochet hooks allowing for less pressure with my grip so I can crochet for longer hours - and they r perfect! If a hook too thin I simply add tape or rubber and around the hook and insert into grip. Highly recommend for crocheters out there - they r durable and a good value for money.

I have two types of arthritis in my fingers and these make it much easier to grip my drawing pencils.
