This kettle is slightly heavier due to the components. BUT because you can tap in the temperature you save so much on energy and your electric bill! When I am doing hot water bottles I tap in 60 degrees which is enough. Also for coffee I tap in 80 degrees and tea 90 degrees. My kettle has never boiled up to 100 degrees and therefore saves money. Also if you are doing other chores you know the kettle will switch off at your chosen temperature without over boiling, wasting energy and causing a lot of damp and steam!!! A great appliance. 👍🏻

This kettle is totally metal inside which is why I bought it. However the downside of metal is that it is heavier than my old plastic kettle and doesn’t contain the same amount of water. An interesting feature is that you can see the exact temperature of the water as it heats up - from 0 - 100.

The kettle was brilliant in the beginning,but then started showing lower temperature while boiling. You had to turned it off manually, because it kept boiling and boiling and the shown temp was 80°C... It is broken now... Can I have a replacement or money back after 1,5 year?

It worked well for a while- but there is an issue with the temperature control. Irrespective of the temperature you choose it now boils away and doesn’t turn off. At boiling point the temperature displays around 80C - so it thinks it hasn’t reached its desired setpoint and stays on. You can’t leave a kettle that doesn’t automatically turn off, it’s unsafe. Disappointing after only 10 months and a pity because it’s a stylish kettle. Don’t buy.

I have searched for a decent looking kettle which looks good and doesn't seem detrimental to health in regard to plastics (bpa etc), and this seems to be the perfect one, of all the hundreds Ive looked at, or bought (and sent back). It does not stink like the last kettle I bought which made me feel nauseous (It was supposed to be a healthy kettle). This kettle is also super fast and quiet. It also has a KEEP WARM feature which allows you to set it at a temperature at which it keeps the water warm for another cup within half an hour. Perfect.

Very good kettle - the inside is completely stainless steel, so no trace of plastic touching the boiling water. Its also quieter than the other kettles I owned. Been using it for 3 days now and quite happy with it. Excellent build quality too. Good value for money Will update this review if anything changes in terms of my experience.

This is the third of these kettles I have bought. I have to buy it as it is impossible to buy a stainless only Kettle, with a concealed element and no plastic water gauge. This kettle is lightweight and completely stainless steel but it would be better if the lid just popped off completely and was fully stainless steel. As the button breaks constantly. Kettle lasts about 1 year and then the lid button breaks, so I had to put a cup ON TOP of the lid, to keep it down while I boiled the kettle. Just bought another one and the button on the lid is already playing up. Pros: Stainless steel Concealed element No plastic water gauge Very light weight (so good for disabilities & elderly), Spout pours a lot (so good for weak arms), Cons: Lid button design fault - breaks Gets a lot of lime scale Filter spout holes large (good for easy pouring but bad for lime scale going in cup) Lid needs to be fully stainless steel - without hinge, so lid pulls off completely & with a plastic knob on the outside lid top. Just wish it lasted longer than 1 year!

Very happy with this kettle. First of all, one of the rare kettles that are not plastic. Secondly, it does not heat up so much from outside unlike a previous kettle I owned. Thirdly, the wide opening on top makes cleaning easier. Finally, the ability to watch and set temperature really makes life easier. Very happy with this product.
