Vibrant Butterflies in Flight - Reusable Instant Decor Self-Adhesive Matte Vinyl Sticker Decal (DESIGN 1, 1)

I have purchased multiple varieties of butterfly wall decals in order to obtain different sizes and profiles. "Colorful Vivid Vibrant Butterflies" wall decals were the final purchase and gave me the additional options and variety I needed to complete my project. Quality of these wall decals is excellent; it is very similar to RoomMates wall decals.The largest butterfly is approximately 4 ½" wide by 4 ½" high. The smallest is approximately 2 ¼" wide and 1 5/8" high. Most of the butterflies fall in between these two with respect to their size. The butterflies are reasonably heavy-duty and do not seem to tear easily if handled with care.These butterfly decals' use is not limited to decorating walls. The decals are also a fun enhancement for application on wood, craft projects or painted children's furniture. I used them on a stepstool my spouse and I made for our granddaughter; we were not willing to spend over $100 for those available online.Following initial construction, the wood was sprayed with semi-gloss paint purchased from the big box hardware store. After sketching a background design, each drawing was transferred to the corresponding piece of the stepstool. Acrylic craft paint worked to complete each background. Once the paint had cured for several days, different "Colorful Vivid Vibrant Butterflies" were placed onto the appropriate scene. A coat of clear shellac, followed by a coat of polyurethane sealed the surfaces and protected the stickers. We did do a test, and the shellac/polyurethane coatings do not cause the decals to become gummy nor does the protective coating affect the decals' color. This method should also work well for children's painted furniture.If you are careful when removing the decals from the backing, these decals are easy to use. Because of the size of some decals, it is easy to have a decal fold over on itself. Separating the decal can result in damage to that particular butterfly. When applying a decal, be sure to smooth it as you apply it; this prevents air bubbles from being trapped under the decal. If you are applying the decals to a rough surface - such as an orange peel wall finish - take care not to smooth too firmly or the texture may poke through the decal.If you are looking for butterfly wall decals, "Colorful Vivid Vibrant Butterflies" are an excellent choice. The butterflies are beautifully detailed and primarily jewel-toned colors - including a vivid sapphire/purple combination; an emerald/lemon combination; and a more unusual hot pink/tangerine combination.

Butterflies are thin and are very easy to tear when you take them off the page so you have to go very slow. They don't stick to the door very well but for the price they work well. We have only had them a week so I can't say how long they will stay sticky for but for now just the tips of the wings are sticking off of some of the butterflies.

Very affordable. Bought it for great-niece's nursery which was decorated in butterflies. Their home has 14 feet ceilings so they have plenty of wall space to be covered. The new mom really liked these butterfly stick-ons. Had it delivered directly to her which saved my some hassle. Happy about purchase.

My kids had so much fun "working" with these stickers. They put on the butterfly stickers on their drawers, headboards, walls and all around the dorman window. Great product as they are reusable. My little one kept taking off the butterflies from the wall and so the older twins re-stuck them higher to where it could not be reached by their tampering little sister. Good quality as the stickers don't tear when peeled off and re-stuck. They are vivid as described, and not skimpy on size and quantity. You may, however need to buy at least two sets to adequately decorate a standard size room. I highly recommend. I liked these alot except for the side way one's, they looked like they were cut in half. Also I wanted to order 3 sets but the shipping which I thought was too high hardly went down with the more u ordered n that's just WRONG for an item like this.

My daughter loves these decals. I like the fact that they come off easily without any residue. Still not sure what happens over time (will they become more permanent), but for now they are a big hit and plan to buy more when me move next summer.

I was looking for a simple, easy way to add color and creativity to my newly finished kitchen. Gone were the dull brown cabinets, replaced by pristine white with soft yellow accents here and there. It needed something to add a little more color and spice up the new look. I came across these wall decorations on Amazon and thought I would take a chance. It was one of the best decisions I ever made! I love the new look and have received many complements on these beautiful butterflies. I received so many for such a low price, I have some left for another project. The service I received was exemplary! I would highly recommend this product to anyone!!!

These decals are okay, I expected them to be more life like, but ended up being more cartoonish. The colors are true to the picture, but the decals are matte, not shiny. I still hung them in my kitchen but probably would not order them again unless I was using them for scrapbooking or something similar.
