Power Rangers Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Communicator

The Legacy Communicator is incredibly overdue. This gorgeous recreation of the original communicators from the show is perfect in nearly every way. The die cast metal gives it an authentic, durable look, and the lights on the front are a very nice touch. Pressing the "set" button will activate the lights and sounds. They cycle between the standard communicator beep (though at a lower pitch than what was used in the show), a message from Zordon or Alpha, and the teleporation sound. Holding the button down will play a single round of the chorus of Go Go Power Rangers. The colored bands are very easy to swap out, and the set includes the core five Rangers.It's not without its oddities. Two of the messages from Zordon tell the user to teleport to the command center, though Zordon says to "morph" there which doesn't make sense within the context of the show. Obviously, the late Robert Manahan does not provide the voice (but neither does David Fielding), with Zordon's voice sounding more like Gosei. The Alpha sound effect (Ai yai yai yai yai!) is cut off at the very end for reasons unknown. About a minute after you last pushed a button on the device, the "error tone" heard when the communicators failed in the show plays, which can be jarring because the Legacy Communicator is VERY LOUD. Accidentally pushing the button will disrupt just about anything you're doing, so be careful.Those issues aside, the Legacy Communicator is a beautiful, long-overdue item from Bandai, and is definitely worth getting for anyone who loved the original series, and anyone who has been keeping up with the Legacy line so far.

For those who are misunderstood and think it's some kind of watch or walkie-talkie, it's NOT... It's just a replica of one used in the tv show. All it does is has lights and sounds from the TV SHOW when you press the yellow button.... Nothing more.I got one that was open with the tab removed from the battery case which was VERY odd but I called and Amazon replaced it immediately and even gave me free next day shipping (I'm also a prime member). But now I received a brand new sealed one so I'm very happy!! I've been waiting for this since I was a kid! I almost bought a replica from another site but it has no lights or sounds and the band colors aren't interchangeable. Glad I bought this!

Mmm Great Quality but its to big, This is not a replica and not a screen accurate product, but okay for fans.I have mine and I also have the starlight studioAnd that if it could be called a replicaI mean, the legacy bandai is fine with all its sounds and lights.But to use it I choose the starlightTo put it in showcase and display it bandai 7/10 for me

I have to say everything about this Legacy Communicator exceeded my expectations. It's what I have been wanting for 20 years. The detail on this thing is absolutely incredible, the sound quality is also incredible. There is only one very minor problem with it. It needs to have a few links taken out of the band but I am sure I can get that fixed.

Since I was a Power Ranger Fan in the old FOX Kids block, I've always wanted to have that wrist communicator when I saw it. And since the day the Apple Watch debuted, everyone and even I felt like talking to Zordon on our wrists, but that'll wait until the 3rd iteration comes along.Now that I have this Legacy version, I feel as I could talk to Zordon and Billy when monsters near my Westchase home.

The image used for the product is misleading. The item features a black back panel about 1/2inch thick not shown in the image. Also the Set button word and Arrow are Black as they should be. The front bars are more straight and meet the edge of the watch unlike the circle marking it shows mid way. Watch any Legacy Communicator Unboxing video and you'll see what I am pointing out! Other than that it shipped fine and got to me just great!
