Update: I've been using the product since June 2016. I've only had one cleaning in the time, yet the plaque that normally builds up on the back of my bottom teeth is NON-EXISTENT.One tube lasts a LONG time. To make sure you only squeeze out the right amount, poke a small hole in the tinfoil cover on first opening, rather than removing it completely. You will get a more measured dose.Original Review:We love this product. My teeth feel slippery and clean, and the horrible plaque on my bottom is disappearing.We bought both versions - the gel in the tube and this pump. The pump is not a good product! It takes several pumps to get anything out, and half the time it then squirts across the sink, wasting it completely.But we love the results.FIRST UPDATE!! First, figured out the pump - make sure to close it after use, or the stuff dries on there and makes it hard to pump, and makes it shoot everywhere when it does. Wipe it off and close it and it works fine.SECOND, and most major: I have been monitoring the horrible plaque on the back of my bottom front teeth, always a problem area for me. Here's what happened: a new dentist told me I need $900 worth of CLEANING (root planing, deep scaling, etc.) throughout my entire mouth. I freaked and bought this stuff, figuring what could I lose? I've been using it since June. A few weeks ago I went to a new dentist for a second opinion, who said all I need was a regular cleaning with a bit of emphasis on these inside front bottom teeth. Well the other night, using a dental mirror and pick, the plaque there started coming off in tiny sheets. I almost thought I was picking off a tooth LOL! But no, just the plaque. It's just amazing. I can SEE the difference, both in the back and between those teeth.I go to him tomorrow for the actual cleaning, and I think he will be shocked to see the difference! END

I've been using the product for a year. I started with the tubes and have switched to the pump. I find the product in the pump easier to work with; it's more liquidy. I brush twice a day with both a "regular" toothpaste (Arm & Hammer) and with Livionex. I have to say that the results have been quite startling. After 6 weeks of using the product, the dentist commented that I seem to have less build-up than usual. Now a year in, the cleanings time have been cut by half. After only 30 minutes, the dentist says, we're done. She's says there's hardly any build up. She says that my gums are in the healthiest state she's seen them (and she's been seeing me for 13 years). Unlike some of the other commenters here, I have had no trouble whatsoever with the pump bottles. I recommend this product without reservation and with unreserved enthusiasm.

This toothpaste has saved my gums. For 20years I’ve have periodontal disease. Because of the size of my mouth and angle of my teeth there are ares where plaque builds up and it’s hard to reach to clean thoroughly. My regime includes two sizes of dental floss, proxibrushing, picks, swishing with antibiotic mouth wash, taking low dose antibiotics daily, surgery. A couple of years ago I started using this toothpaste and what a difference it makes. The pockets in my gums are all healthy, the plaque build up is minimized. My cleanings have no gum bleeding. This really works for me. It’s wonderful to not have inflamed gums. I’m not saying rush with this and the rest of gum care is unnecessary, I’m saying this is the step that truly wiped out the really hard to reach plaque. I make sure that I replace the plug in the tip to keep it open so it doesn’t clog. When I do that I have no problem with the pump.

This review is on the particular dispenser not its content as I have not used it long enough to evaluate its effectiveness. Do NOT even consider purchasing Livfree in this container as you will have nothing but problems dispensing it and end up wasting quite a bit. Let me explain.Upon receiving it, I thought I had gotten an empty one as the was no gel dispensed despite a few dozen pumps. Finally after a minute of continuous vigorous pumping a stream spurted out overshooting my brush. OK maybe it just needed priming. Well this turned out not to be the case as the pumps were not the precisely dispensed quantity but quite irregular. One reason is that even though you close the container by rotating it, there is some left in the nozzle. This dries out with completely blocking or partially blocking it. Thus when you use it again it comes out at unpredictable rates. The other issue is that in order to get it all on the brush you need to pump it slowly but as it is not viscus enough nor has an internal membrane to keep it primed, you end up losing most of the time. Finally, since it is clear and they instruct you to wet the brush first, observing the actual amount dispensed is difficult. The result is this lasted only 4 weeks of 2x daily brushing.I have been using its tube dispenser for a week now and this is a far superior a cheaper way to use the product. Not only is there no waste its blue color makes it easy to precisely regulate the amount.
