Doodle approved, but it might break
I bought this as replacement to the one I accidentally decapitated. The one I bought at Sierra was much less expensive, if you have one in your area. It won't last forever. But it's a great toy to shoot down a long hallway or down the stairs to keep your dog occupied when it's raining or snowing outside. It's one of my 50 lb golden doodle's favorites, but he will try to destroy it when I'm not looking. I have learned to accept that I will have to replace almost all my dog's toys at some point. He's not gentle with his toys lol. I have accidently let it backfire and hit my face, which is great entertainment when you're babysitting you're niece and nephew lol. Oh what fun! Such a silly auntie! Kids will also enjoy shooting it across the hallway and then running to get it lol. Just make sure to watch them with it at first so they don't accidentally hurt themselves (unless that's just something I'd do lol). It feels like an okay-ish investment. I hope that helped!

Great for our fur babies
The only toy the dog cannot tear up

Not for aggressive chewers
I have a 1.5 year old, blind Mastiff. She is a rescue that I adopted less than 2 months ago and she would, in my opinion, be considered aggressive or tough on toys. She plays fetch off of the sound of toys hitting the floor. This toy lasted less than 1 hour before 2 holes were ripped at the seam and where the head expands from the body started to lose stuffing. This is not a toy that will last for “aggressive” chewers or dogs that hold their toys with their jaws and aggressively shake their heads back and forth (owners will know this action).

Honest Review of Dog Toy
Lasted a while until my Aussie got board then cracked a seam and pulled the stuffing out of the head. Fun and durable toy!

Fun toy but made my dog sick
My Scottie absolutely loved this toy and was obsessed with it after getting it for his birthday. It was super fun while it lasted, but unfortunately the inside stuffing/material ended up making him sick for a while, which I’ve never really experienced with other toys before. Every dog is different, but I personally wouldn’t repurchase because it just wasn’t worth risking a sick pup.

Fun toy that can be launched and letting the dogs play with it on their own. 4.5 stars.
Review of Nerf Dog Large Nylon Launching Duck with Interactive Design, Blue (3473), for All Breed Sizes I do Christmas shopping early. This is going to my fur (rescue) grandchildren; two German Shepherd Dogs. One (Ruger) is more toy driven than the other (Karma, the white one), but they both will enjoy playing with this. I like the ability to launch it. Hold the rope in one hand and there is a place for your thumb of the other hand just under the duck’s bill to pull the neck and let go of the rope. I just hope it holds up for a while. I don’t like the rope part in particular, but this will be a toy that is played with while they are supervised. Rope toys can be chewed into stringy pieces that are swallowed and not easily passed. The whole toy does feel durable, including the rope. But I still feel it is best supervised so our beloved dogs don’t shred and ingest the rope. I will update this review if the toy fails to meet my expectations. Minus ½ star for rope. So, 4 ½ stars from me.

Terrible build quality, good toy
Don’t buy this. This is a great toy that my dog loves, but it falls apart instantly, always in the same way: The seams come apart within an hour of play. I’ve owned three of these: Two I bought and one gift. The stitching is always poor quality. My dog isn’t a heavy chewer and we don’t play tug with it. The slingshot function is really fun though, for the 40 minutes before it falls apart it’s great fun.

Awesome Toy However Dog can chew the wings off pretty Quickly
Great Toy for Dogs... Definitely Keeps my Pomsky busy... It's Fun Shooting it in the Air... My Only Negative is my girl was able to Shred a Wing within Minutes... After a total of 2 Hours of Having this Toy it no Longer has a Tail (The Shredded Tail Threads have all been ripped out), and each wing has been ripped. I wish it was reinforced better. However the Duck Still Flies and we will continue playing with it until it No Longer flies. I truly don't see the Flying part of this toy being destroyed because the neck extension is inside the duck until you stretch it out and it seems pretty impossible that a dog would be able to stretch it out and chew thru it all on its own... I attached a Video.. Hopefully it Loads so you see just what I'm talking about 🐾🥰

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute brilliant fun and saves my shoulder!
If you have a dog with high energy who loves to fetch, you need this toy. My dog is obsessed with it! The slingshot launch mechanism is incredibly easy to use and shoots the duck absolutely miles—easily up to 75 feet with minimal effort. It completely saves my shoulder and arm from the constant strain of throwing, meaning we can play for much longer sessions. The duck also makes a great crinkle and squeak sound that drives my dog crazy with excitement before I’ve even let it fly. I was initially a bit worried about durability since my dog can be quite rough with plush toys, but the build quality is top-notch. The woven nylon material and tear-resistant rubber coating have held up amazingly well against sharp teeth, and the elastic launcher is still as strong as day one. It’s perfect for trips to the park or beach to really tire them out. Highly recommend—definitely "Nerf or nothing" for fetch!

Our border collie's favorite toy..
Our border collie goes nuts over this and is excited in anticipation of me launching it. It's fairly durable, although I had to duct tape up one area she chewed threw, but after that, it's been lasting well.

Our dog loves her blue duck. So do I.
Our very active kelpie is mesmerised by her blue duck nerf toy. I like firing it off its rubber band neck. It travels a good 4-5 metres and hasn’t damaged any furniture. Mostly it stands up to the powerful chewing and shaking she gives it after each catch. However, we are on our third duck. Each lasted about 6 months, until she has managed to sever head from body. Never mind, as despite not being able to launch it off my thumb, she still enjoys catching it. Watch out for overdoing the strain on your thumb if you launch more than 50 times in an evening :)
