Beetles Gel Polish 2Pcs 15ml Nail Glue Kit for Acrylic Nails

Updated 7/11/24 - I've used the glue again a few times since my original review and would now rate it 5 stars. Excellent adhesion - almost too good because even after soaking in acetone and using my file, some nails are tough to completely remove. I've now started using a peel off base under this glue because I like changing my nails every 2 wks and that has helped in removing faster, more cleanly and with less damage to my natural nails. If you prefer to keep your nails on for longer, then skip the peel off base and just stick with this glue. I've had sets last up to 3 wks and could probably last longer, but my nails grow fast so I redo my nails pretty frequently. Pros - easy to apply. Didn't damage natural nail. Doesn't leave residue when removed. Cons - one nail popped clean off five days after I applied my nails. Overall opinion - I thought a glue that required curing would have better results. Disappointed that one nail popped off, but other nine are good for now so I don't know how I feel about this glue yet. Hopefully the one nail popping off was a fluke. I'm not rough with my hands, don't have them in water a lot and I prepped all my nails the same so 🤷‍♀️ I have two bottles so I guess I'll use them, but will carry some other spare glue with me in case because losing a nail in public is not a look.

I was tired of having to spend $90+ for acrylic nails so I decided to take the chance and do my own. Paying $10 for some tips plus this glue saves $$$. I already had a UV light from buying beetle gel nail polish already. You can get at minimum 2 weeks of your nails staying on. I had mine on for exactly 2 weeks before taking them off and a few of them were not ready to come off they had to be soaked off. I would've worn them longer but was just testing them out to see how long they would last for an upcoming vacation. I had put a good amount of glue on the nail, held it on with a finger to set it for 30-60 seconds then once cured I put in for 2 min to really set the glue. Here is what I did in 2 weeks and what these nails stood up to. I trimmed bushes multiple days along with pruning flowers (no gloves on) I accidentally nipped one nail with the pruning shears pretty hard boke the nail but stayed in place, I just filed the broken nail. Played softball with 13 yr old daughter multiple times, pitching throwing catching, nails did not budge. Sat in hot tub a few times, nails weren't always in the water as I thought it would soften them up, after a week I did soak them while sitting in the hot tub and they were still good. Constantly washing dishes by hand with no issues and scrubbing hair when showering. I work at a desk all day and am constantly typing and I used the nails to type a lot just to test it out, never weakened them or broke off. Overall I am extremely pleased, I can't believe I got 2 weeks out of the glue. It probably may depend on how much glue you use? IDK I put it directly on my nail and covered like polish, I know some show putting the glue on the nail first but I think it's not enough. Definitely way better than the glue that comes in a droplet bottle type. That stuff lasts maybe 2 days before my nails would come off.

This is a really great glue, especially for the price, I do nails and they hold up really well, If I don't rip them off I can get at least 2-3 weeks with them on, also really great for beginners.

Guys, this stuff with the proper nail prep, almost too good. My nails stay on soooooooo well, and it’s easy to use

These are extremely comfortable I’ve got the small size they stay on my nails really well I have narrow nails and these fit me so perfectly. I use an extra strong superglue because that is the key to long lasting nails is getting an extra strong superglue not a nail glue. They usually say on two weeks with superglue. These nails are not thin and they do not break, think of kiss snails these are the same thickness as kiss nails without the polish. You have to do the polish yourself but what I use as a Sally Hanson miracle gel because you do not need a light, you just do two coats of the miracle gel nail polish and then you do her same topcoat and you’re good to go. This is the first day after putting the nail gel on so it looks a bit ghetto until everything washes off my fingers so disregard that but once they’re all cleaned up they look amazing. These are the short coffin shaped, and as you can see they’re actually pretty long, so if you wanted short nails you might have to try the extra small, but these were actually the perfect length for what I wanted and I have to use my cell phone, and I have to type a lot for my job but I can do all of that without majorly dysfunctional hands.

I had never tried Beetles before and my daughter does nails and i was looking for a good glue for my gel nails and this is it! It takes some getting used too but they stay on longer then any other kind i have tried and i have tried a couple different kinds. This last me almost two months on other brands i was lucky got two weeks but im not easy on my nails either. This is the only one i se now and the bottles will last you a while unless you just like to change them out every week..lol

I started doing my nails at home to save money on going to the salon and have tried many methods. This nail glue works insanely well for the price. My first bottle came in a starter kit and it took me over 8 months to even be close to needing another bottle. The key to get this nail glue to work long term is to prep the nails properly. Buffing and dehydrating the nail beds with rubbing alcohol gives the nail glue a great foundation to grip to. I’ve been able to have nail tips last for over a month with this glue. It can be tedious to remove the glue, but that to me just shows its integrity. Additionally, it can take a couple tries to get used to placing a glue covered tip on the nails, but all kits have a learning curve.

Fantastic for my nails and extensions and last 2 weeks at a time!

This nail glue is amazing. I have had 0 lifting and the nails feel strong. Other glues I've used tend to pop off around the the 7 day mark. But these have been going strong for about 3 weeks now. I adhered these without a primer, just roughed up my nail with a file and dehydrated it. And its had 0 lifting, even on the edges. I'm pretty rough with my hands, and use my nails to open packages. Highly recommend

Thick enough to self level, but not so thick as to make it difficult to use in thin layers. Holds everything so well! As a glue for rhinestones and decorations, it's rock solid. As a base coat it is perfection. As a sealer over the top of your work, crystal clear and completely bubble free. Nothing I've used over it has been resistant to it. My new favourite product!!
