Love this baking dish! Some complain the lid is hard to remove or breaks easily. They key is NOT to wrestle with it. Instead, grasp the lid at the tabbed corner and pop it just enough to allow air in. After that the lid lifts right off.

We chose this baking dish because of the deeper storage capacity. It works well for layered foods like lasagna and casseroles. It cleans up well; dishwasher safe. Because it's clear, one can see from the bottom if it's cooked well.

I loved this pan until this happened. It was in the fridge and I was sliding it out when a piece broke off. I didn't hit it on anything. I heard a clatter and part of the contents were on the floor, however the lid was intact. Luckily it did not shatter. It was purchased and still under warranty. I contacted the company and their customer service was amazing and sent a replacement.

I ordered both the 2 qt and the 3 qt OXO borosilicate baking dishes with lids and they arrived in perfect condition. The airtight lids are a great touch, no more aluminum foil or cling film required. Planning to add the related loaf dish with my next order.

I have always used an earthenware bake pan and would have continued doing so forever if I had not made plans to bring a complicated dessert cake to my mother's house for dinner. The drawback of my current dish is that there's no lid and I wanted the luxury of being able to stack some items to carry them. I'm also in love with my beautiful dish and didn't want to risk it chipping or cracking in transit so I decided to look for one that had a lid. I'd been wanting one with a lid for a while anyway but with the rarity in which I need to travel with food I couldn't justify the purchase. Fortunately, this was a steal at $20 and from a brand that I trust, OXO. I love this and honestly, now I find myself exclusively reaching for this pan. It's much lighter for me to handle, which means it's easier for me to wash and I don't have to ask for help to get things in and out of the oven or to wash it in the sink. Another small step towards independence after suffering a life-changing injury in a car accident that affected my neck and lead to a weakening of my arms and hands (sometimes not having control). I love that if I make a cake or some treat that I don't have to go through aluminum foil or the like to store it. I just pop on the lid that comes with it and I'm done; very neat. There's enough clearance that I've never had any concern for it smooshing my food down. When it's half full I can even leave my spatula or other utensil in the pan with the food and seal the lid with ease. I prefer to hand wash things like this but the few times both the pan and the lid have gone through my dishwasher it's come out just fine. I have not tried transferring it from one temperature extreme to the other, but if I needed to, I wouldn't be shy about it. The pan, not the lid. I plan to buy more once I relocate and have more storage. I really wish they'd come out with this in a variety of sizes. If they did, I'd get rid of my current glass food storage system and use theirs exclusively.

Love the quality and the lid! Very modern looking with being able to see thru the lid. Bought this for our son’s new condo & filled it with his favorite squares when we gave it to him. He’s 22 & said “wow! Nice dish, who’s is this?” ☺️Now he has a dish and cover for other desserts, lasagna, one pot dishes or leftovers! Great buy!
