Great bases for revising.
Not many other question banks out there so very grateful for this book even though seemed expensive. Good as written for acute med so questions seemed relevent, unlike some online question banks which include very odd irrelevant questions. Unavoidably some answers are already out of date, suggest check latest NICE guidelines, espically for Chest pain. Also 2 gastro answers contradicted but book it a good place to frame revision and I was pleased I spent the money.

Useful book together with online revision
Good revision tool, I used it along with an online question bank, and passed first time! So I can recommend.

Slightly wordy but a really good revision aid
I bought this to help me revise for my pathophysiology exam for my masters degree. Although I initially found it a bit wordy, once I got used to it I found it a mine of helpful information. Not only did it give me a taste of what my upcoming multiple choice exam might be like, which was handy for revision, but it also taught me loads about emergency medicine and what to do in certain situations. Would definitely recommend.

Very useful book. Huge breadth and depth to know as acute medicine is possibly the most demanding specialty. Lots here to practice upon. Great book. Good summaries.
