I bought these books to do a study of who Jesus really is and why Christians believe what they believe for my teenage sons. The chapters dig into the scripture and really get the reader thinking about what Jesus did, who He said He is, and historical evidence of the writings. We had a surprise when our Muslim neighbor asked to join us in the study.I think this is a great study for people who grew up in the Christian church, but don't have a clear understanding of what or why they believe, and for discipleship purposes. It also makes the Bible clear and easy for people of other faiths who want to understand what and why Christians believe.There are questions that the reader can answer on his own, or can be used in a study group. There are charts and diagrams that help clarify the readings. I like the chart at the end of the first chapter that gives the reader a choice to make about who Jesus really is. Did He lie or tell the truth about Himself? And what would it mean if He did lie or tell the truth? Really gets one thinking.
