What a Fun Book!
I should probably wait until I've completed the menu chosen (#25), but after day two, I'm just having so much fun and enjoying the flavors/seasonings suggested in the book, I just can't. Schloss's seasoning for his fried chicken is better than mine - and, it hurts to admit that. The gravy and anchovy mashed potatoes really took the meal over the top.Just finished Day 2's Mushroom Mushroom soup and thankfully I was able to stop my husband at 2 bowls so we can have some leftovers. I gilded the lily by making baked potato skins from the baked potatoes of yesterday - so good together.Tomorrow will be Warm Chicken Caesar Salad........
