2500 Recipes: Everyday to Extraordinary Hardcover – Import, 14 September 2007

If I could only have ONE COOK BOOK this would be it. Well, maybe sneak in the America's Test Kitchen "Cooking For Two."This has everything. I wish I'd had this years ago. No pictures, but that is a minor thing. I've cooked things I'd never tried before, and and thrilled with the results. Often there are several ways to cook a dish. The directions are straightforward and easy to follow. I am not a novice cook; I'm looking my 9th decade right in the eye, and I love cooking even now. I am having FUN with this fine recipe book. Great price, too.

The book I bought for my wife was not new. It was listed new. The inside cover had something written in a foreign language and the book was dirty on the outside. My wife is not inclined to use it.
