The Dragon Hunters (The Dragon Brothers)

The rhymes are great, the story flows well, really nice language and I love the quality of the visuals.

We got this series with my first son and customized the story by using his name with a friend's for the brothers and then one of our dogs names.Now with our second son we actually have two brothers names to use. They love it and will say "I tied his tail to the tree" or list and point out what "I" got out of the bag etc. Makes them feel like the star of the story.I'm sure you could use girls names too but you might have to add some hair to the pictures. 😉We gave this as gift when our first son's best friend moved away and we replaced the names as mentioned above.The rhymes don't rely on the names so it works out nicely.

Finally, a fairytale-like story for little boys to enjoy! No love interests and no violence. Just two, imaginative & curious brothers within a story that rhymes and has the neatest, interactive map my sons are obsessed with! Well done to the author & illustrator - we can’t wait to collect the whole series!

Book came in excellent condition, never used, and the grandkids loved not just the story, but they looked forward to guessing the rhyming word endings. The five year old has been retelling the story to his parents and brother. The 7 year old loved seeing the AR map. He is reading the chapter book The Dragon Defenders and this book was a great way to introduce the reluctant reader to a new book. Highly recommend!

My 2 and 4 year old both enjoyed this story. The illustrations are whimsical as is the story. It's got a rhyming story that is fantastical and silly. We also have the other 2 books in the series. Our little ones also enjoyed the app that interacts with the map in the book.
